short chapter *
coryCory had left his home at around 3:10pm and made it to bleus house at round 3:25pm— because he drives fast.
he was done being her little chauffeur and decided to finish her car a-s-a-p.
"want something to eat?" cory asked once bleu got into the car.
bleu smirked before answering, she hated spending people's money because she felt like she had to owe them.
"thank you but i just ate." she responded. seeing him made her nervous and she didn't know why, well she knew why, he was fine as hell and he stayed offering to pick her up lunch, and not once did he ask her for gas money.
but she always saw fine men walk in and out of her job. so why is she nervous now?
cory just nodded his head as he sped to his business.
when they made it to the shop bleu checked the car out taking a note of everything.
"looks good." she said nodding her head.
to be honest she didn't know what the fuck she was checking for but her car wasn't leaking anymore so that was good.
"glad i could help." cory said handing bleu her car keys.
"umm cory." bleu said as cory was about to walk into his shop.
he turned to face her, "what's up?" he asked.
"can i take you out to lunch tomorrow? on me. but not like- a date or anything like that just as a thank you token, i know this good restaurant and—yeah." bleu spoke with immediate regret hoping he would say yes.
cory furrowed his eyebrows, "nah i'm good— i appreciate the offer though." he said.
bleu felt her heart sink into her stomach, "oh well that's fine." she chuckled. "no hard feelings."
she said while quickly clicking the button on her car keys to unlock the door.
cory watched as she tried to flee the scene as fast as possible. he was genuinely confused, maybe he threw off mixed signals to her so he just blamed his acts of kindness.
for some reason you can never be too nice to a female because then they'll start thinking you like them or something.

"yeah i finished her car kind of early so i may be able to take that truck to cali." cory said, his arms were on top of the red leather sectional couch that sat in the middle of rio's apartment, he had a 1 bedroom so it was a lot more spacious.
"oh word? that's what's up that makes things a lot easier i'm gonna hit up paul and let him know that the plan is activated." rio stated while typing away on his iphone XR.
"man man man." cory said shaking his head.
"what's up?" rio asked looking up for brief second.
"so that girl i was helping basically asked me on a date, i mean shorty said she was gon pay for the meal and all." cory said rolling up his leaf.
"damn where you be finding these woman at? all my hoes do is complain, complain, whine, some more complaining and thassit."
cory just laughed.
"you said yeah right?" rio asked looking up from his phone.
cory shook his head, "nah i said no."
rio sat his phone down, he couldn't quite process this. "you said WHAT?" he semi yelled.
"i- i said no— what's wrong with that? the fuck she needa take me on a date for? and pay for MY meal."
