A year had passed since the passing of Changbin’s father. Ever since that day, Changbin somehow accepted his father was gone, and that he and Felix now cuddle each other in bed.

Felix was waking up slowly, rubbing his eyes. He looked around, not seeing his cuddle buddy. He pouted before hearing the door open, footsteps approaching the room. He looked up with tired eyes, seeing Changbin, holding food.

Changbin sat down next to him, smiling softly as he handed him his food. Felix began to eat in silence, not caring about how quiet it was as it was quality time with the older male. The two quickly finished, Felix hugging Changbin softly.

Changbin giggled. “How was your sleep?”

“It was great…” He said sleepily, cuddling into him. Changbin blushed softly, looking down at his lips.

Felix looked up at him, feeling the older’s eyes on his lips. He blushed, wanting to lean up and press their lips together.

At this point in both of their lives, they had finally figured out what emotion they had been feeling towards each other. Love. But with that, more problems came. They were scared of being rejected by each other, unaware they suffered the same fate of feelings of confusion and loss.

Every time they saw each other, they wanted to pull them close, telling the other what they held in their hearts, spill it all out, and not hold anything back. But they didn’t want to lose anything they had grown between them, as losing their precious friendship was suffocating their minds.

No matter how close they grew, no matter how they spoke to each other, no matter the touches and the small smiles, they never realized they shared the same loving gaze.

Changbin lifted his hand, ruffling up Felix’s hair. Felix whined, fixing his hair. He glared at the laughing Changbin, grabbing the top of his shirt, pulling him close, their faces almost pressed against each other. Changbin stopped laughing, blushing pink.

Felix smirked, unsure of where this cocky side of himself had come from. Their eyes met, both blushing more. Felix looked down and away, just staring off into the distance as Changbin kept staring at him.

Changbin bit his lip softly, fumbling nervously in the presence of Felix. His cheeks puffed out slightly as he brought his lips in. Changbin looked around nervously, before looking straight at him, placing a hand onto Felix’s cheek. Felix looked back at him with big eyes.

“C-Changbin..?” He stuttered, his cheeks becoming as red as a rose.

The older looked up, not saying anything, their eyes meeting for a few seconds before the two looked away awkwardly. Felix stared down at his lips, noticing the older had taken his bottom lip between his teeth, biting his lips nervously.

Changbin moved closer, their lips being pressed together. Felix's eyes widened even more, his entire body freezing, unable to respond to what was going on. He felt the older's grip on his cheek loosen as Felix didn't respond. His lips felt warm and soft, trembling on his own lips. Felix whimpered softly, slowly return the kiss, slowly but surely, although uncertain as how to kiss someone. But it was already too late in the kiss.

And just as how quickly it started, it was over. Felix stared at Changbin and his lips, his eyes going crossed eyed as he stared. A blush was on Felix's freckled face, mixing in well with the colors of the dark spots.

Changbin looked away, Felix's gaze moving up. "I-I'm sorry…" Changbin said softly.

Felix frowned, moving closer and hugging him. "It's okay, Binnie."

Changbin sighed, standing up, breaking from his arms. "I have to go. I need to train."

Felix watched as the older left him, the young male frowning to himself. He sighed, standing up. "I should work on the gardens." He left the room.

Oh no?
