Meeting at Magcon (Magcon Fanfiction)

Chapter 6

Andi's POV

I kept running faster and faster.

I had to get out of the middle of town because it was getting dark outside and it's not good to be in town when it's dark.

I finally reached our apartment and slid my key in. I walked in to find bottles of alcohol all over the counters and my mom was passed out of the couch.

I shut the door quietly so she wouldn't hear me and crept into my bedroom.

I locked the door knowing that she would try to get in when she awoke. I threw my maroon backpack on the floor and grabbed my laptop, which I saved up my earnings from YouTube and what my mother hadn't stolen from me.

I also grabbed my headphones and plugged them into my computer and turned on Netflix.

I slid off my converse and layed on my bed watching The Office for a couple hours.

Around 12:30 I got hungry so I quietly snuck out of my room, praying that my Mom wasn't awake.

As I reached the kitchen and stepped onto the tile, the floor creaked.

I quickly panicked and my Mom rose from the couch.

"Andi! I was sleeping and you come in making all this racket!" she yelled furiously at me.

"I'm sorry Mom, I didn't mean to!" I cried.

She slapped me on the face and I ran to my room holding my cheek.

Tears were streaming down my face as I layed in my bed.

She kept yelling at me through the door but I finally tuned her out with my headphones.

I was still hungry.

Atleast I had a secret stash of food in my room and don't ask me why I didn't just get it from there in the first place because I don't know.

I took out some Sun Chips and started to eat them.

I wiped the mascara from my eyes and closed my laptop. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through Instagram and Twitter liking and retweeting some stuff from my fans.

Then I went on YouTube and watched some on Carter Reynolds videos, he was soooo cute.

And Finally I check my emails, there was one from some dude named Bart Bordelon talking about this traveling event called MAGCON.

I ate more sun chips as I scrolled through the email, reading every section carefully.

As I finished reading it, it asked me if I wanted to join with more girls and guys! I figured my Mom would never let me go but I was 18 so I could make my own decisions.

I quietly crept out of bed and started to pack my suitcase.

As soon as it was packed, I printed off my tickets.

I grabbed my bags and took all my savings and wrote a note to my Mom.

"Good-bye." I whispered as I went to start a new chapter in my life.
