it was the last day of school. skylar was officially done sophomore year and nate was done his junior year.
there was an end of school year party thing that mckay had at his house. nate and skylar were in the kitchen. skylar was sitting on the counter and nate was standing up. she was leaning against him with her arms wrapped around his torso.
they had just gotten in a huge fight outside because of her outfit. and like always his way of ending the fight was choking her to make her stop.
they walked into the party like nothing happened. he sat her up on the counter and then that conversation began. (the one above)
"nate i'm being serious this time. we need to break up" he didn't say anything. he just kissed the top of her head. "let's just talk about this later" he whispered after a long silence between the two. she nodded her head and kissed him.
the party went how the parties normally go. there was some drama and everyone was drunk.
eventually nate and skylar left.
they got into his truck and he drove her home. when he pulled into her driveway she turned to him.
"nate i meant what i said earlier" he looked down. "nate we need to break up" tears dropped from her eyes. he let out a big breath "i love you" "nate i love you too. but it's time that we end things. for good this time." he nodded his head "just promise me that you'll still text me sometimes" he asked. "that's not gonna help anything" she said. "skylar you can't just cut me off completely" "nate this is what's best for us" she said as she grabbed her things and got out. she walked up to her front door. "i love you" he yelled from his truck. "i love you" she said.
she walked into her house and went into her room. she didn't even cry. she was just happy that she made it clear that she was serious about their break up this time. she was upset obviously but this was what was best for her.

the next few days she didn't really do anything. it was summer break so she didn't have to go to school and see anyone. which was good.
she spent all her time in her bed. her and nate were texting a little bit nothing serious. they would just check in on each other.
nate was a fucking mess. even though he treated skylar like shit most of the time,he did care about her. and he did love her. so much. he's never felt that way about any girl. and now he can't have her.
but over the next couple of weeks,skylar was answering him less and less. she was trying to get over him. and the more she texted him the harder it was to get over him. so she tried to ignore him. which pissed him off.
tonight emma was throwing a party. obviously nate was invited. i mean him and emma are still friends.
skylar wasn't planning on dressing up too crazy because she had no one to impress. but a couple hours before the party she was downstairs with emma. emma ended up convincing her to dress up super slutty. cause why not?

the outfit didn't end up as slutty as emma told her to dress. but skylar had no one to impress.
as everyone began getting there skylar stayed in her room. she wanted to make a big entrance down the stairs. so she waited for a lot of people to get there.
when she was ready to come out of her room she stood at the top of the stairs and walked down.
as she walked down the stairs everyone watched her.
her long dirty blonde hair flowed behind her and her perfect body made its way down the stairs.
she saw nate look at her and she immediately looked away.
it pissed nate off that skylar was dressed so hot and he couldn't touch her. he couldn't tell her how good she looked. he couldn't kiss her. he couldn't hug her. but he had to watch her walk around looking good.
nate watched as many guys were staring at skylar. he let his jealousy take over. and he could see maddy standing in the corner staring at him. he walked up to her. "where's your girlfriend nate" "she's not my fucking girlfriend maddy" maddy smiled. "dance with me" she asked. he smirked and grabbed her hand bringing her into the center of the living room where skylar could see them.
she watched as maddy and nate were dancing on eachother. she rolled her eyes and stood up. then she got an idea in her head. she found a hot boy standing by the sink in the kitchen. "dance with me" she said. he nodded his head. she grabbed his hand and brought him into the living room. she began dancing on him. she was making eye contact with nate who was still dancing with maddy.
nate couldn't take his eyes off of skylar and how good she looked. she continued dancing on that random boy and nate continued to dance with maddy. but both of them just wanted to be dancing with eachother.
eventually skylar walked away from the random boy and went into her bedroom hoping no one saw her.
nate stopped dancing with maddy. and he saw skylar go into her bedroom.
he waited a few minutes and then made his way up to her room
she was on her bed staring at the ceiling. he opened her door and she sat up and looked at him. she raised her eyebrows.
he went and sat next to her. it was pretty awkward but the urge to kiss eachother took over them.
she turned and aggressively kissed him. when they unattached from the kiss she laughed and laid back down
"how many girls have you fucked since we broke up" she asked. "two" he answered. "i hate you" she said. "i know" he said. "were they better than me" she asked. "fuck no" he said. "no one is" he said. she couldn't help but smile. "how many guys have you fucked" he asked. "none" she lied. "don't fucking lie to me" he laughed. "one" she answered. "who" he asked "doesn't matter" she said "just tell me" "why you afraid his dick was bigger?" she teased. "was it?" he asked. "what if it was" she teased. "i'll kill him" "dead or alive his dick his still bigger" she teased. he groaned. "nah i'm playing yours is bigger" she said. he laughed. "we should fuck right now" she said. "i thought we were broken up" he said "oh please like you care,just fuck me" she said. he laughed and moved closer to her.

nate buckled up his jeans and left his shirt on her floor.
she buttoned up her jeans and took his shirt off of the floor and put it on.
they both walked back downstairs holding hands.
maddy looked at them and rolled her eyes. "you're a cunt" she said to skylar "am i a cunt or are you just mad that i'm the one that nate wants?" she said. maddy rolled her eyes and walked out of the house.
