[3] Acquaintance

It was a calm Thursday morning, Langa was waiting at their usual meet-up spot. They did their usual dap but this time Reki kissed him on the cheek when they were done, leaving Langa a bright pink. "What? We're dating, aren't we!" Reki chuckled and Langa nodded his head, they took a different route to the school today that was shorter than the other routes.

Once they arrived at school they walked to class and waited in their seats for the class to start. As usual they didn't pay attention in class. They passed notes to each other about skate boarding or little doodles, but one of Reki's notes caught Langa's eyes.

One of my old friends Kenta called me the other day! (the one who taught me how to skate) He is coming back to visit me!

Langa re-read it, he knew Kenta, not personally but he knew who he was. Even if Reki was his boyfriend he felt kind of jealous, probably because he knew that meant seeing Reki and Kenta hanging out together more often. 'Shit i've been thinking for too long.' Langa noticed so he quickly wrote something back.

That's cool can't wait to meet Kenta :)

Of course Langa wasn't cool with it. He had just gotten with Reki, now it's like he felt Kenta was going to take his time with Reki away.

"Reki!" Langa pulled on Reki's shirt before Reki could walk out the school alone.

"Yes?"

"You we're leaving me?" Langa looked down and held onto his boyfriend's hand

"Oh, I'm sorry Langa! I think I might've zoned out." Reki pulled Langa into a quick hug and started walking with Langa home.

"Reki can I please stay over your house~" Langa whined, Reki was walking to fast for Langa to keep up. He would've used his board but since Reki wasn't he also didn't use it.

"Sure!"

Langa instantly felt better and walked quicker to match Reki's pace.

At Reki's house, Reki quickly greeted his family and dragged Langa to his room. Langa sat on Reki's bed and signaled for Reki to sit next to him. "What for?" Reki sighed as he sat down.

"Cuddles!" Langa squeezed the redhead.

"Langa- you could've just asked properly," Reki said. Now Reki sat up properly and laid Langa's head on his lap, Reki twisted strands of Langa's blue hair in his fingers.

"Is it naturally this color?" Reki observed the blue hair.

"I could ask the same thing to you."

"I'll take that as a yes then." Reki continued fidgeting with Langa's hair, he made two braids on each side of Langa's hair. Langa eventually forgot about everything, he only thought about Reki, being in his lap, and finally having somebody all for himself.

"Reki! Kenta is here!" Reki's mom shouted loud enough to startle Langa, Reki noticing.

"Sorry! My mom is like that, very hyper I guess? I'll go get Kenta you can stay here." Langa got up to allow Reki to leave, he didn't want to though. He sat on his bed fidgeting with his own fingers.

Finally, after about 3 minutes, Reki came back, Langa of course felt like it was 3 years without Reki.

"Langa! This is Kenta!"

"Yo!" Kenta grinned, he seemed extroverted, just like Reki. Meaning he was bound to be the exact opposite of Langa.

"Hey." Langa responded calmly. Kenta sat on the floor with Reki,

"Come sit with us!" Reki chirped. Langa got off the bed and sat next to Reki, very close just so that if Kenta wanted to he couldn't get in between them. They were silent for a bit but Reki broke the silence.

"Wanna go to the skate park!"

"The same old one?!" Kenta replied

"Yea!"

At the skate park, Kenta used one of Reki's old boards. At first, he was a bit shy to get back on a board, he did simple tricks that a beginner could do. Langa started skating and doing flashy tricks, he wanted to do it for fun but since Reki was staying on the same level as Kenta it felt like Langa was skating for Reki's attention.

"Wow Langa's like a proffesional! How long has he been skating for?" Kenta

"A couple months actually." Reki smiled widely watching Langa skate, he loved making people happy.

"Really? I remember teaching you and couple months in you finally landed your first ollie!"

"Yeah! I still have the recording!"

Langa stopped skating and walked over next to Reki putting his arm around Reki.

"What're you talking about?" Langa asked

"Just about Reki's first couple months of skating! Come on let's sit down over here."  Kenta grinned and they all sat in a circle, or more of a triangle since Langa was really close to Reki. Reki nudged Langa a bit with his arm and Langa did it back to him. Langa watched Reki and his old friend talk, he didn't say much sense he knew nothing of the topic.

"Langa how do you think he was when I taught him!" Kenta suddenly dragged Langa into their conversation.

"Uhh... I think he still has the same face." Langa smiled slightly.

"That's a unique observation, but I agree!"

Langa was getting tired of Kenta's personality, even if he had a some what similar personality to Reki. Langa knew nobody could compare to Reki's personality, even if they were similar. Langa held on to Reki's hand just to make sure he wouldn't lose him, even if Reki wouldn't go anywhere without him.

"So, what is Langa to you just a friend or?" Kwnta said looking at Reki's and Langa's interlaced fingers.

"About that-"

"I'm his boyfriend." Langa proudly announced interrupting Reki.

"That's odd, the only crushes Reki ever told me about were female!" Kenta took a closer look at them.
