I didn't turn around because I was too afraid to. I only kept driving until I was home. When I got in my driveway, I turned around to find a man who looked like me.
He had a top hat, a pink moustache, and a red and white pinstripe. Be held a Golden pistol to my face. I pulled in air heavily, startled. "You're probably wondering the same thing I do every day, where did it all go so wrong?" He laughed.
"Who ar-r-re you? I asked shaking. "I am Warfstache, Wilfred Warfstache. If I were you I wouldn't be asking questions." He said staring into my eyes. "I do have a loaded gun to your head right now."
I slowly moved my hand towards my phone to dial 911. "You better stop you hand right there." He said, noticing what I was doing. I stopped my hand. "Why should I listen to you?" I asked knowing it was a stupid question that could get me killed.
He sighed putting his head down and then pulling it back up. "For one, I do have a gun to your head. For two, I'm not going to go back there. I'd much rather be back inside of you." My eyes widened while I processed what he was saying. Inside me? What does he mean?
"What do mean, inside me?" I questioned. He sighed and turned his head to the side a bit. "I mean all the versions of you, fan-made or self-made, are in you. Dark was the first to try to escape because he was sick of it. When he tried to, he realized the defences in you were too strong. He did everything he could and he got out. When he did I was able to get out when you fought him, so I hid in darkness until now."
"Well OK, what do you mean by you don't want to go back there?" I asked understanding a bit. "I don't want to go to jail, to court, to hell. It wasn't my fault, that man just had to come in. If he didn't, it would have been all fine." He said angrily. "He just had to come to back."
I didn't know what to say. When I finally thought of something I opened my mouth but, Wilfred cut me off. "By the way, before I left and after you killed Dark, I saw his spirit roaming around in you. You know that we versions can't die right?" He asked. I nodded my head like I knew but it was all new news to me.
"How could he? Mirror showed me an image of where he was. It was fiery and filled with lava. Is that what the inside of me looks like?" I asked confused. "No. I don't think this 'Mirror' guy is who he says to be." He concluded.
"Are you saying that Mirror might be Dark?" Wilfred nodded and pulled in a deep breath. He then let it out slowly pulling his gun away from my head. "Most likely. We have to go and get rid of that Mirror." He said. "Wait, but how do I know that you're not Dark? How can I trust you?" I asked with suspicion.
He smiled. "You can't."
