Kirishima's pov

Bakugou was acting pretty odd yesterday and rumor has been going around that bakugou has a pet fish! I can't believe he wouldn't tell me! I am his best friend after all. That's it, he was pushing me away all yesterday so today I'm not taking no for an answer! Also I really wanna meet this fish of his. He was covered in a bunch of blood yesterday. I wonder if he has a shark. That would be soo manly!

Right now it's 8 in the morning so I brought bakugou some breakfast to his room. I already ate but i brought a few protein bars just Incase we end up hanging out in his room. The breakfast I brought him consisted of scrambled egg on rice with a pack of sea weed on the side.

I knock on his door and hear a "hold the fuck up shitty hair" as a response. He must be in a good mood today.

"What do you want?" He says as he answers the door with a slight bed head and his pjs on.
"I brought you breakfast so we can hangout today. You were pushing me away yesterday so today I'm not taking no for an answer!" I say as I pump my fist up and harden it.
".. fine come in shitty hair. Sit the food on my desk but hand me that sea weed" he said as he opened the door wider. I walk in and immediately I smell salt water. I sit the food down and turn around. "Dang bakugou, is that your fish smelling like that? Hey wait a minute, where is your fish? Rumor has it, ITS A SHARK!" I said, excitement present in my voice. I hand him the sea weed and he enters the bathroom.
"It's not a fucking shark. But I bet you'd be happy if it was, shark week" he said with a grin.
"I don't know which nickname I hate more.. hey is your fish in there!? Can I see? Won't tell anyone. Pleaseeee~" I begged.
"Fine fine but you can't tell a soul! I'm not tryna get fucking judged by those extras. Let me just wake her up" said as he entered the bathroom. Wake her up? I didn't know fish sleep like people.
"Hey bitch! Wake up I got fuckin breakfast!" I hear yelling coming from the bathroom.
"I'm up I'm up~ just feed me already I'm starving!".. what? I girls voice? I rush in the bathroom and look at the tub..
"WHAT THE HELL BAKUGOU?! You can't just keep people as pets!"
"Shut the fuck up she's trying to eat." He said in a bored tone. I sweat drop. I look back at the tub and see a girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair, (sk/c) skin, and a long (f/c) fish tail. Well at least he wasn't lying about the fish part.
"So bakugou. Who is that and why did you kidnap them?"I ask bakugou suspiciously.
"I DIDNT FUCKING KIDNAP HER I SAVED HER LIFE! And for your information she's not human so I have the right to keep her as a pet." He said smugly.
"That's not very manly bakugou. You can't just judge people because they look different! What would Mina think if she heard that?" I scolded him.
"But I'm not human. I'm a mermaid" the girl said as she nibbles happily on her sea weed.
"What do you mean?" I asked her. That tail has to be her quirk right?
"Well from what bakugou told me, people aren't born with quirks or features that aren't human. They usually get it when they are around the age of 4. But I was born with my tail. And so was all of my people. Aren't quirks supposed to be unique to its user? Well this isn't unique at all. There are thousands like me back home." She explained. So she really isn't human.. I still don't think this is ok. She looks human up top. So she has to be related to us.
"Bakugou I don't like the idea of you keeping her as a pet. Why not a roommate?" I ask.
"Does she look like she can take care of herself? She can't even walk on land dumbass. We're going to the pet store today to get her a tank big enough for her to play and swim. While we're at it I'm getting her a custom collar with her name on the front and 'Katsuki's property' on the back." He somewhat explained. But that still seems a bit inhuman.
"I agreed to it shitty hair so don't worry. He's not holding me captive or anything" she says with a childish pout. WAIT DID SHE JUST CALL MY SHITTY HAIR?! Oh god please not another bakugou.
"M-my name is actually Kirishima. Bakugou is just bad with names." I say as I knelt down on one leg to be her height and smile my toothy grin.

I heard her gasp and saw her try her best to wiggle away from me but she we in the small tub so there's not too many places she can go. She then decided to just hop out the tub as a whole and wiggle her way to bakugo.
"SHARK! S-shark! Bakugou please! D-dont let him eat me!" She yells as she hides behind bakugou. Shark? Oh.. my teeth.

(Y/n)'s POV

What is a shark doing on land?! I thought mer-sharks were rare! D-do they even eat mermaids? And where's his tail and fin!? He has legs so his he half mer-shark and human? I'm not taking any chances. I'm not gonna end up like mama and papa.
"Bakugou! Quick! Use your stars to scare him away! Do it before he kills us! I heard mer-sharks hate humans and mermaids." I tell Bakugou while hiding behind him. He seems strong. He should be able to take him easy.
"Pfft-"
I look up and see bakugou started.. laughing?
"WHATS SOO FUNNY BAKUGOU! HES GONNA KILL US!" I scream as my face paled. This is it, I'm gonna die. And bakugou doesn't even care. I thought he saved me cuz he wanted a pet. Not to be fish food for his shark friend. "H-how could you? You betrayed me bakugou. Was this your pain all along? To feed me to your shark friend?" I say with a shaky voice and tears welling up in my eyes. Bakugo then stops laughing and looks at me. I turn away from bakugou but as I'm turning I see the shark moving my way.
"B-BACK AWAY! I'm not afraid to uh- fight you! Yeah I'll fight back! Don't fuck with me!" I curse at the shark. Bakugou's eyes widen at my choice of words.
"Bad girl. No fucking cursing. *sigh* look shitty hair is not a shark. He won't eat you and he's only here to help." Bakugou says as he gestured for the shar- I mean red head to approach me.
"Hey sorry I spooked ya! I'm not a shark but I guess I kinda have teeth like one huh?" He just laughs it off.
"Shitty hair here is gonna help me build your tank and take care of you. On days I can't be around to feed you or talk to you, shark teeth over here will keep you company. Make sure you behave too. I don't wanna have to train you." Bakugou explains.
"Wait I am? When did we agree on this?" Kirishima, at least I think that's what he said his name was, asks.
"Oh.. ok.. well I'm sorry I reacted the way I did. I just don't have the best history with sharks.." I say with a blush of embarrassment forming on my face. "So um as a way of showing my gratitude. I will allow you to help me back in the tub. I can only stay out of water for 4 hours before I began having trouble breathing." I said lifting my arms up like a child.
"Oh sure! No problem." He said then picked me up and placed me in the tub. I can see bakugou glare at the back of Kirishima's head, I think nothing of it though.
"Well me and shitty hair gotta go before noon and get your tank so we can have it built by tonight. So here" he threw me a rubber duck. "Play with that if you get bored. We should be back around 12 so you'll be here alone for a few hours. I pick up some fucking toys and a collar for you so you have more things to do in your new tank. Come on shitty hair" Bakugou said as he walked out the bathroom.
"Wait bakubro! Wait for me!" Kirishima then ran after bakugou.
"Oh ok bye guys see ya later!" I yell as they leave the room. I then look down at the yellow rubber duck in my hands.
