In this body of mine
I wanna feel pretty.
But I can't
Not without those unrealistic
Body types.
I have to pay a price,
Just to feel pretty
in this body of mine
I can realine my ribs and spine
Just to have a waistline.
I can pollute my body
with plastics and products.
Just to feel pretty
in this body of mine
I can obsesse over every girl I see online, and in every magazine.
Their perfect skin and jawline.
I'll never look like them,
Not
In this body of mine.
I'll never have those
Unless,
I can redefine
What it means to be
The true meaning of the word
Pretty
So I can love
This body of mine.
So I can feel pretty in every way
In this body of mine.
