When the day ends I'm both pleasantly surprised and disappointed that Han seok hasn't contacted me once. I should be jubilated that the sadistic asshole has for once decided to leave me alone, but Instead I find myself overwhelmed with negative emotions. On the way back home I check my messages once, twice, three times, and come out disappointed.

Maybe he's with Hang Cha-young

I look out the window as some sort of last resort to distract myself but my mind refuses to wonder elsewhere. It's possible he is with Cha-young, to be completely honest I wouldn't be surprised if they were already in a relationship.

Raking through all the scenarios my head conjures up leaves me feeling admittedly bitter. Slightly pouting I take a look out the window, if only to distract myself from the onslaught of my thoughts. We've stopped at a red light, right in front of a small run down looking restaurant. Lo and behold seated outside the establishment is Cha-young with a drink in her hand and a small smile on her face.

I've always been too curious about certain things so I can't help it when my body unconsciously leans forward to take a closer look. Especially when I notice an outline of a person beside her. I can barely see their features, it's dark and from my position I can only make out an outline. Who else could it be though, it had to be Han seok. Ignoring the sudden tight feeling in my chest I move to turn around. As the car begins to drive off, the small area where the duo is enjoying their drinks lights up.

That's not Han seok

Cha-young is definitely sitting with a man but that man but is not "Junwoo". The car takes off before I can get a better look at the guy but from what I can see he's attractive. Does Han seok know his girlfriend is out in about having drinks with good looking guys? Whatever, serves him right.

The house is shrouded in darkness, the sun has gone down taking with it the natural light that seemed to bring the space alive.

"All rise for Chairman Jang!" I jump at the statement, quickly searching for the source but already knowing who I'm looking for.

The lights suddenly turn on and Han seok stands in the middle of the room. He's dressed only in some sweat pants with a towel wrapped around his neck, his hair still dripping droplets of water.

I look my brother in the eyes, it's frustrating how hard I have to try to keep my eyes from wandering, "Sir? What are you doing here?"

He never hesitates to settle in my space, we live separately but he'll walk in here as if he owns the place. I guess he can, technically he does own the place. I'm pretty sure he owns me at this point.

"What? I'm here to see you of course, do I need a reason to see my brother?" He raises his eyebrow, the curious tone in his voice a stark difference to the daring look in his eyes.

Idiot, don't question him

I quickly perk up, a forced but cheerful smile plastered across my face, "No, of course not! I'm happy you're here." Am I happy you're here? Who would be happy standing next to a ticking time bomb?

As if you weren't checking your phone for a single message 10 minutes ago

"Oh?" He tilts his head to the side, a playful smirk playing across his face.
