Wretched Dreams (Part One of the Coma series)

Chapter 8: The Undead

I shudder realizing my current location, I head for the door, making sure to see if it's locked, suddenly out of knowhere, an arm reaches out of a bag, grabbing my naked body, I scream, I kick the body and grab a nearby stapler to defend myself from this monstrous creature. He leans up and groans, I catch a full glimpse of his body covered in scars, half of his arm missing. Reaches for my throat, and he won't let go, more hands start covering me, it didn't take long for me to pass out. I wake up entangled in duct tape, I'm still in the morgue, dangling from the ceiling, I see more victims, all wearing hospital clothing. While I'm upside-down I see that the mysterious writing was just English upside-down, it reads "PARASITIC SPACE #4" with a warning sign next to it explaining how to check for a disease called "Tectonic" it says that "Tectonic splits people's cells then moving to tissues, organs, organ systems, then the whole organism, driving the, insane when their neurological cells begin to evaporate. I predicted that this was one of the first capsules, I was scared too think how many of these pits pf despair existed. I saw a creature in my peripheral vision, it was breathing into their mouth, spreading the "Tectonic" to one victim after another. That raised more questions, how was I going to escape, and did the Doctors think I had this disease already? I struggled trying to untangle myself from the mesh. The human-looking creature was only two bodies away, I was looking for a miracle, my hand brushed my pockets, and two things were inside, one a pocket knife, and a note saying one word,that explained everything to me, it said "Survive!" It was written in blood.
