Louis, a selectively mute boy. He was always told to never speak by his father. Whenever he would speak, it usually ended up a slap to his face.

Mark, his father. He was a terrible man. Louis' family was always moving and no one really knew why, they just went with it because he said so.

Johannah, his mother. She was an angel. She always comforted Louis after what his father would do, she was the only person he would speak too.

Charlotte or Lottie, one of his sisters. She was the one that was following under their father's footsteps. Louis knew it was a bad idea for her but he wasn't going to say anything.

And finally, Félicité or Fizzy, his other sister. She was younger than Louis and Lottie so she didn't get much of what would happen and Louis wish it stayed that way.

He wished he never had to see what happened. He wished he wasn't where he was. He wished he would've died with them.

•••••••••••••••••••••••

Louis was sitting in the family library when his heard a bang come through their front door. He let out a silent gasp before standing up and looking out who was there.

"Mark!" The man in a black suit boomed. Mark made his way from the wine room look worried. Louis had never seen this look on his father's face before.

"Look at who I finally found" The man gave a evil smile.

"What do you want?" Mark snarled.

"You know what I want" The man answered. "Guess you didn't run enough, because it seems I won our game of hide and seek."

Louis watched the two conversation from the door way of the library, a bit scared of what he was seeing.

"Honey, who is here?" His mother asked walking from where it seemed like the kitchen, Lottie and Fizzy following behind.

"Just a friend I work with, you can go back to the kitchen with the girls" Mark smiled.

"Stay" The man said sharply causing a halt to his mother and sisters leaving. "Sit on those couches"

"No, go back to the kitchen" Mark said.

"Do you really think you're the boss here?" The man asked. Louis thought of how young yet powerful he looked.

"Yes, this is my own house" Mark answered.

"Actually, it's mine, you know I own you now. Oh no, wouldn't it be so sad if your wife learned what her husband actually has been doing" The man said putting on a fake pout that quickly turned into a smirk as he pulled something out of his pocket.

"What is he talking about?" Johannah asked frightened as she held Louis' sisters on the couch.

"He isn't talking about anything, you wouldn't dare say anything." Mark threatened.

"Oh but I will" The man said before turning to Johannah, "Hi ma'am, did you know your husband has been running from the mafia?"

Johannah's mouth dropped and so did Louis', he couldn't believe it.

"You shouldn't have said shit" Mark yelled as he lunged at the man but the man was quick to move, slicing open Mark's neck. Mark let out a gasp before his eyes rolling into the back of his head and falling on the floor.

"I've been excited to do that" The man smiled. Johannah had Lottie and Fizzy's eyes covered as she let tears stream down her face, Louis also having a few tears drop. "Who's next?"

"Do not touch them" Johannah demanded. The man walked up to them, staring at each before going to Lottie.

"Following in dear old daddy's place, how sweet" The man said running the large blade over Lottie's blonde hair but then slice!

"No" Johannah cried out.

"Mommy, what's happening?" Fizzy asked.

"It's okay baby, stay silent" Johannah said.

"Aw, small innocent Félicité, oblivious to everything that was happening around her." The man said, slice!

Louis watched as now his dad and both his sisters were bleeding out.

"They were so young, why would you do that?" Johannah cried out angrily.

"Mark knew what would happen if he didn't listen to me, sorry not sorry" The man smiled before slice!

Louis felt dizzy, he didn't know what to do. He lost balance and quickly grabbed on to the table next to him but knocked down the vase full of flowers in the process.

The man's head turned over to Louis, his eyes looked him up and down with a smirk before walking over.

"Well, well, hello pretty little thing" The man smiled as he walked over towards Louis. Louis closed his eyes as he prepared himself to die but was only met by a hot breath on his neck.

"Open your eyes, doll, I'm not going to hurt you" Louis obeyed and opened his eyes.

"See, how come I never knew about you?" The man asked. Louis shrugged and looked at the man's face for the first time. His eyes were green with hints of black and his hair looked soft.

The man's hand begun to hold Louis' face as he analyzed every bit of it.

"You would be perfect for me at the house" The man said. Louis didn't know what the house was but didn't want to have what happened to his family happen to him so he nodded.

"Use your words, doll" The man said, Louis just shook his head no. "At least, tell me your name."

Louis, again, shook him head no. The man let out a frustrated sigh.

"I'll figure it out, you can call me H or daddy either one. Now, come on. We have to get back to the house" H said. Louis followed H out of his house, taking one last glimpse of it assuming it would be his last. H threw a lighted match in and closed the door.

Louis got into the passenger seat of H's tinted out range rover before looking back at his house, watching it burst into flames.

He looked out the window thinking, this was the beginning of something knew and he wasn't ready for it.
