As soon they heard the announcement from grandpa they were totally Shocked

"Grandpa, We talked about that some days ago too, I told I can do this Marriage thing for now" Manik Remarked throwing his arms in air getting tired from this topic

"What you mean by you can't get married now? Are you playing with my sister?" Shivaye Growled angrily looking at Manik, Manik rolled his eyes balls listening to him

"I didn't mean that, It's just I'm not ready for it now, I need time" Manik Shrugged, Explained him, Calmly, Before shivaaye could say nandini Spoke agreeing to him

"He is right bhai, we both need time, Marriage is a big thing, a big responsibility, and we are not ready for that" Nandini stated, Calmly

"But Grandpa why are so eager for their marriage? Anika Questioned him, Perplexed, Atleast Give them some time," She insisted, And glanced at him

"I just don't want this house to be empty, as you are getting Married, so I just wanted nandini to be a part of this house" grandpa told them, and sighed Anika Side hugged him

"If you guys don't want to get married, why don't you  both get engaged," Anika Exclaimed loudly Getting Exited her Eyes Twinkled

Before manik could answer her nandini spoke making

"Actually, I Have to say something? nandini Muttered nervously with her eyes downcast. She was fiddling with her fingernails. and looked at Manik, She was scared of his reaction And manik waited for her to say

"Me and manik lied to you guys about us dating" Nandini blurt out, Narrowing her eyes at him Manik looked at her, Widening his eyes, While Everyone looked at her weirdly

"What are you Even saying nandini?" Anika Asked, her eyebrows knitted, Not believing her

"She's just joking Guys don't take it seriously " Manik Stated With a fake Smile, And turned it nandini nodded his head Raising his eyebrows, Asking "what are you doing?"

She Ignored his Look and turned to face others "No I'm not" Nandini Refused Politely, Manik Glared at
"Give us a moment" Manik Spoke, Fake Smile plastered on his face he held nandini's wrist and drag her upstairs in his room, He shut the door loudly

"Have you gone Mad nandini?" He Shouted at her Holding her shoulders, While she was standing confidently as she has done the right thing according to her

"Answer me at least, what stupidity were you doing downstairs" He yelled angrily, Releasing her
"Stop shouting at me, I will not take it, can we please talk calmly" Nandini Mumbled Seriously to him , Manik looked at her, He sighed ruffling his hairs

"Fine, why did you did that stupidity downstairs, Please Elaborate" Manik said calmly yet sarcastically Making her Sigh

"Firstly I didn't do any stupidity, I just told them the truth, And we just can't keep lying about it, let them know the truth, Nothing will happened, As we are dating now manik" She Explained him Slowly And cupped his face walking towards him

"They will get hurt nandini, You don't know my family, they won't trust us again let it be, how it's going " Manik Replied her, taking deep breaths

"Manik it's better that they should know it now, What if they get to know it from someone else, it will hurt them more, and about trust we will get engaged so they can trust us" Nandini told him, and Shrugged, He open his eyes wide listening her

"What? Engagement? Do you know what are you saying?" He Exclaimed Loudly moving back, He was flabbergasted

"Why you don't want to do it? You still don't trust me?" She Asked, Lowering her head, Sounded upset,
"No, it's not that" He Sighed and Cupped her face with both hands, And She Looked upward at him,

"you know we have just started dating Eachother, So i just wanted to give us some time, That doesn't mean I don't trust you," He Clarified Stroking Her cheek, He stopped from moment, "And I didn't wanted to get engaged because of you" He Whispered, She Put her hand on his chest pushing him little

"What you mean by that?" She asked, bewildered, tilting her head

"You don't know about my Past yet, and i don't even know how will you react to it, You still don't know me fully, I'm very messed up person," He told her his inner turmoil, Locking his eyes with her, and Entwined there hand together

"I'll handle Everything, if you are with me, If you trust me," She mumbled getting him, and Manik looked at her with a proud look on his face And leaned down to Placed his lips on her forehead tenderly , She smiled with closed eyes

"Shall we go down and tell them the truth" She asked  still in his hold manik moved back and nodded his head in yes

He forwarded his hand to her and she hold it lovingly Smiling at him, then both went downstairs

"So will you both tell us what's happening?"
Grandpa Asked seriously Manik nodded and taking deep breath he told them everything

"What? Is this a joke or what, How can you even lie to us" grandpa yelled angrily While Nandini clutched Manik's arm tightly getting scared

"Manik how can you do this to us, Is is a game for you "Anika Shouted rudely making him sigh

"I will Explain Guys" Manik Said slowly as he didn't expect this reaction for them

"What will you explain haan? How can we trust you again, what if you are lying again" Grandpa replied Sternly Raising his eyebrows at them Manik and Nandini both looked at Eachother, The words didn't come form their mouth

"Were you Guys expecting this reaction?"They heard grandpa and looked at him He has a smirk on his face, Making them Puzzled, Grandpa looked at Anika and both burst into laughing, and shivaaye joined them, Manik and Nandini looked at Eachother not getting anything
