To grab myself some fruit for mama pie, today

"Have you guys seen Nathan, I asked nearig and Betty"?,
"Good morning to you too", Betty says
You mean the drunk", nearig added

   "has visto a nathan?", I asked

  A woman enters and asks for some groceries. Hailey steps aside, disappointed. "Bye, Mrs Sherwood." She might as well go home,she decides
  "I'm going to tear you in pieces!" Someone shouts outside. Come back here you little hooligan
  "Hailey looks to see were the racket is coming from. she is almost knocked down by some teen sprinting down the narrow street,laughing. They're being chased by Nathan who is waving a big stick in the air.
But the teens are too quick that they already disappeared down the ally
Nathan is huffing and puffing in range. He is only a few step from Hailey, he is too busy trying to catch is breath
  Hailey keeps quiet to scared to talk to him
I'll get back to them,he mumbles to himself as we start walking in the opposite direction
  "Wait!, Nathan !, please, I need to talk to you, Hailey calls and rushes after him
" yes, my child, still sounding irritated but stops walking
"Earlier, when you were talking to my mother.."
  "Yes?"
"You said something about my father."
  "I knew him."
"You said he could do amazing things. "Please tell me, what kind of things?"
  "Shouldn't you be back home?"

  Hailey trues to remember her father bit its in vain she looks up to find Nathan starring at her

Hailey and Cynthia walk home with a hop and a skip,happy
So are you coming for sandwhiches? "Cynthia ask.
  "Is food the only thing you ever think about?"
"No...I think about other things
  "Like what?"
Like..the delicious spaghetti my father makes."
   "Hailey burst out laughing. "I can't come today, Cynthia sorry. I have to see Nathan
" who's he?", your boyfriend
"Eww no he is way older than me"
Oh ok
"He is the man I told you knew my father, I've see him before but I spoke to him for the first time last night. He said my father had power
  " like?"
"I don't know. that's why I have to see him. he said I should meet him by the river bank later today
  "But its that not quite far and hidden from the town, its ok you can go,Cynthia knot her eyebrow together contemplating.
I'll go,she quickly makes up her mind, maybe I can start in my diet

They make their wat across the busy town. From a a distance Hailey spots some stray cat on the rubbish dump near the row of public toilets. It looks like vivi and her pack. carols and the prey coming from the street, snacking from a brown paper bag. They must have come directly from school
  Hailey nudges Cynthia in the elbow. They stop to watch, vivi, Ber legs stiff and her claws bare, its hiss , tulip, brown and bluey are right behind her
  Get it, carols encourages one of his friends
"Vivi what's going on?", Hailey ask
   "Stay out of this short stuff, carols spat at me
"Don't do it vivi, Hailey says. Its not worth it"..
  "This my turf,not allowing some hooligan to trash up this place
"Shout up mongrel face, one of carols minions says
  Your a fine one to speak
Stay out of this guys,Cynthia says
   "What you gonna go about it bean cake, carols say
Oh now he done it, vivi says and immediately jump on him crawling him like any violent kitten will do while other cat John in to attack carols friends( the prey), the fight goes on until a lady come switch a bucket of water and splash it in them chasing the cats away...
Soon we could clearly see the claw marks and the cuts on their body with some bleeding
Next time never mess with those kitten
   Those are stray and I promise you next time I see them they will burn

  Wait and see, and with that him and his minions left
...
Nathan, Hailey says as she finally met him
Oh yes dear child
"I have some chores to do at home.... So I was wondering If you know"
  "Oh yes...a bout your father"
"Yes, please tell me about him," Hailey ask eagerly
  "He was a very quiet and reserved man, always kept to himself "
"But you said he had powrs!"
  Hailey,Cynthia reprimands her, "he's getting to that

Hailey,Cynthia shouts at her
  Sorry,she mumbles

  "What do you mean disappear"?, the two friends ask
"A few times I was with him he would just disappear out of sight".
  "Did he do it in front of people?", Cynthia ask
"No, he only did it in front of me and his love of his life",
  "Mom", Hailey choke out
Yes,he said
"And where would he go?, the two girls ask him
Am afraid I don't know that, but what I do know is that your father had grate powers that help people but great powers also comes forces stopping that
  What do you mean, Cynthia ask
Evil people witches and wizard,he said
  "So papa knew this?", Hailey ask
"What else can you tell me about my father, did he drink?"
' No, he didn't, Nathan said with a small smile on his face

  "You have a little bit of him in you,Nathan says
Hailey eyes light up. "I do"?
  Something in those eyes tell me you know more than your letting in.
I better leave my parent should start panicking, Cynthia said
Yes me too, I have chores to do, Hailey says
" well its nice seeing you children, come again soon
"Will do,they both respond
Hailey walk away astonished. She can't believe her father could vanish. Where do you think he go to when she vanish, Hailey ask .

Very funny?,
Hailey and Cynthia takes a short cut and they both plan to meet each other the next day at Hailey house at 11sharp....
When Hailey got home thankfully her mother not yet back while her sister is doing the dishes in the kitchen, she ties out her magic some from her pocket and stroke it and it glow purple like before . it makes her feel calm she smiles to herself. She carry one of the old newspaper her mother put in  one of the cabinet, she smiles in delight as she read the name "THE STAR" ,she wraps the sine carefully in the paper, crawls under her bed and put the stone among her collection of pebble in her bucket
