Orpheus pov

She simply nodded after that.

"Well, because we're partners now," I said over her, and she interrupted me with, "and what about that?" "You didn't let me finish my sentence yet anyways, because we're partners now, I think we should start working on this project tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the park," I said.

Loria's pov

I only did that well because I wanted good grades and didn't want my parents to get angry and tell me that I was an ungrateful little brat because of that guy.

I then went to Dailyn and Hendro, whom I'll refer to as friends because, well, why not? I saw them talking in the corridors and they saw me. "Hey Loria, how's art?" Dailyn inquired. "Didn't you see her with Orpheus, the man she clearly hates?" Hendro inquired. "Hendro, you are right. That guy sat next to me when I was with him, and now he's my partner "I explained everything to them.

"Anyway, Hendro and I are going to the library; do you want to join us?" Dailyn inquired, "Yeah sure, because I have a free time and need to look for a book on 'how to make a crochet' with you know who," I replied. They laughed at me and said, "poor Loria," laughing and joining them.

Then we arrived at our destination. They found a table for the three of us, and I arranged my belongings into the chair and began looking for the book. I saw it, but it was too far for me to reach, so I stood on my tiptoes and still couldn't get to it. I then noticed a big hand and it was Ferd.

"No problem, how to crochet," he said with a smile. "Cool, you have arts?" he inquired. "Yep, I got partnered with Orpheus," I replied. "I've heard a lot of stuff about him." His family, particularly his father, is dangerous "he stated

"Well, that's nice to hear," I said. "Do you want to hang out after school?" he inquired. "Of course, what time?" I replied. "Alright, see you later at 4 p.m. in the park"

"I see you and Ferd are talking, what were both of you talking about?" They question as I walk over to our table, and they smirk at me. "I'll tell both of you if you remove your smirks because you both look funny," I said to Dailyn. "Okay, we stopped smirking, can you tell us now?" they said after they stopped laughing. Hendro said

"Alright, He asked me out," I said, blushing. "Well, good for you," they both agreed. "Anyway, I have to get going because I only have 5 minutes before class," Hendro said. "Well, have a nice one!" Dailyn and I said.

I then read for at least 15 minutes; fortunately, Dailyn and I were in the same class. We were discussing history, which was completely needless, but she was paying attention and I, well, let's just say I didn't pay attention. I was only thinking about random things like "why aren't blueberries blue?" and "what letter in the word "Scent" is slient, the "S" or the "C"?" and so on.

I snapped out of my dreamscape when Dailyn said, "Class is over, you may exit your dreamscape." She grinned, and I faked a smile.

I then exited the castle, grabbed my bike, and headed to the park, where I met Ferd.

On the grass, he had a blanket and some snacks in a basket. "Hey, I see you've got a picnic planned. "Pretty cool, if you ask me," I said as I greeted him. "Do you want to know more?" he inquired. "Sure." "I said.

And there was Orpheus, whom I had never expected to see.

Orpheus pov

Loria was the person I saw. She was giggling and smiling, but when she saw me, she stopped.

Jealousy was there in my mind, but why? I mean, she's beautiful, but is it because the guy who made her smile was someone else?

Maybe I was extremely jealous, but I wouldn't admit it to anyone, including myself. I like her but not love her because, as you know, even if mother was around and giving all of her love, it wouldn't be enough because father wasn't around but was present to manipulate me.
