This will be a throwback chapter. In the throwback chapters they will be 8 years old and in 3th grade, unless I say something about their age. Enjoy reading!
Louis' pov:
I walk into the schoolyard, my hand in my mother's. It is my first day at my new school. I am excited, but also a little bit scared.
We walk into the classroom together. There are not many children, I think there are about 15. One boy with brown, curly hair catches my eye. He looks at me with his big green eyes.
The teacher walks up to me and says "you must be Louis, welcome, I'm Lisa. You can sit down on that chair and then you can introduce yourself in a moment." She points to a chair. I walk over to the chair and next to me sits the boy with the curly hair. "Hi I'm Harry, what's your name?"
I see that my mother is still talking to the teacher, so I introduce myself to Harry. "Hey Harry, I'm Louis and I'm from England"
"Where is England?"
"That's a different country, we moved to America for my mother's work".
"Oh I like it that you moved"
"I don't like it very much, I miss my friends in England"
"I can be your friend here"
"I would love that"
I see my mother leaving, so I wave quickly. "bye mum"
"You have a funny accent"
Good morning, says the teacher. "Today we have a new classmate in our class. Louis do you want to introduce yourself or do I have to?"
"I want to do it myself."
I stand up and say "Hello everyone, I'm Louis and I'm from England. We moved here for my mother's work. I like to play football."
"We are very happy that you are here Louis, and I hope you feel at home very soon!" says the teacher. "I think Louis would really like it if you would all introduce yourselves quickly as well. Harry, can you start please?"
"Hello I am Harry"
"My name is Aida"
"I am Whitney"
"Hey I am Bruce"
"Olivia, Mason, Amelia, Lucy, Vince, Emma, Marwa, Claire, Connor, Nolan, Milo, Flynn"

The bell rings and everyone stands up. Harry takes my hand and says "when the bell rings, we can play outside".
I feel a tingle when he takes my hand. I don't know what it is but it is a nice feeling.
Just when I was about to ask what they do during the break, Aida comes running up: "hey guys, shall we play hide and seek?".
"Yeah sounds nice, Louis do you like that?" says Harry
"yes, I would like that!"

When the bell rang at 2 o'clock I got my bag and put on my coat.
I say goodbye to Harry and Aida, I was with them most of the day, and walk away.
I walk to my mother's car and get in."Hello darling, how was your first day?" she says as I put on my seatbelt.
"It was really fun, I have already made two new friends, Harry and Aida. Harry has really nice curly hair."
"Is that the boy you was talking to when I left?"
"yes, that's Harry"
"He looks like he's a lovely boy. We have to pick up Lottie and Felicte from daycare on the way home."
"Okay"
"Can you tell me a bit more about your friends?"
"Well I don't know a lot about them, but harry is taller than most kids at his age, and as I said he has brown curly hair. I don't know a lot about Aida but she was really sweet to me. In the break we played hide and seek with our classmates. I won one time with hiding."
"I am so happy you had a good time. What about the teacher, is she nice?"
"Yes, the teacher is also very sweet, she is good at explaining things"
We turn left and drive into a car park. The sign says La Petite Academy. I assume that Lottie and Fizzy are here.
"Louis, would you please stay here, I'll be back in 5 minutes"
"okay"
5 minutes later, Mum comes back. Lottie walks hand in hand next to Mummy and Fizzy lies on Mummy's arm.
I get out of the car and walk to Lottie. "Hey Lottie, had a nice day?"
"Louis cuddles" she says as she walks carefully towards me.
I pick up my little sister and give her a hug. In the corner of my eye I see a smile on mum's face.
