As a kid, Bow and whoever he would find himself hanging out with would walk a dirt path down to the prickled vines at the edge of the forest. He would walk the kids through the forest to the fountain.
The fountain of Gaia was left by Fae at the edge of Aathmika. That fountain could heal any wounds and, if the person had enough, it could bring them back from the brink of death.
The Fae despised the East for using the fountain for their selfish needs, asking the elder spell casters for favors that they know they can't pay. "Can you make me wealthy?", "Can you make me prettier so I can draw in all kinds of men?", "Can you do this", "Can you that?" The Elianians and all their selfish desires. Want to take everything under the sun turned gold.

As Bow landed on the hot stone with a thud. The sun was just past its highest. He picked up his bag and slung it over his shoulder and took off running, making sure to keep close to the castle's walls.

Soon he came upon some guards, he stopped running, slowed his breath, and tried to act normal. Like 10 minutes ago didn't just happen. He checked his face for any tears and wiped anything away that could show any signs that he cried.

"Hey! Bow!" Amila cried out running over to him from the gates.

"Hey Amila, it's been a while," Bow stated somewhat holding himself together, "Listen I know it's been a rocky couple of days with, you know, but I can't really talk right now. I have to.."

"No, I completely understand, You guys will be gone soon to the forest. I don't want to hold you up with anything," Amila spoke with a hint of sadness in her.

"Thank you so much, I really do have to go," Bow said turning then quickly sprinting off.

"No problem! Have a fun time. Don't forget to pay your tab, the people at the Pubs are looking for you!" Amila cried out after Bow noticed the rip in the back of his shirt.

Dan's feet stuck to the floor, weighed down by the fact that Bow just jumped out of a window. Silence slowly filled the room, thick and heavy, like quicksand. He looked around the room for anything wrong, something to tell him he was dreaming. But there was nothing. Certainly, he couldn't have done that. Of course, he didn't. Bow wouldn't just drop out of a window, or at least not at this height. Dan didn't have the nerve to look out the window. The door suddenly slung open, a furious Queen in the frame.

"BOWIETH WALTER CALA, YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS YOU HAVE STARTED?" She scanned the room only to find Dan standing there looking as if he was going to fall apart. "Oh, Dan. It's just you in here. Do you know where Bow might be?"

She immediately regretted asking that. Dan fell to the floor crying, trying to get words out, but they just ended up being sobs, crying out in pain. Queen Cele rushed over to him offering him comfort until he could tell where Bow was.

Dan spoke through his sobs, "he just jumped through... he jumped out the window." Cele's grip on Dan loosened in disbelief.

"Are you sure? You must be seeing things," Cele laughed out. Dan looked up at her with tears and panic in his eyes. "You have to be wrong, right?" Cele said a little less confident. She quietly let go of Dan, slowly walking to the wide-open window. She can feel the breeze from the ocean as she creeps closer, looking down at the sizzling stone. No one is there, the only thing that is left is part of the windows shutter. A breath of relief left the queen.

"HAHAAA, see I knew it, he's not down there Dan. You must have been seeing something else, Bow isn't down there," she exclaimed with joy.

Dan freezes in the middle of the floor. Face stained with tears and engraved with horror. "What? But I saw him with my own eyes.." Dan exhaled the words through his tears. "I know what I saw, you have to believe me."
