~6 days till the cultural fest~

'Ok, we passed the health inspection and so we are clear to have a riceball booth.' Yuki was at the front of the class with the vice rep. 'So, what is going to be in them?' Of caurse while I sat next to Kyo and Arisa keeping quiet, Tohru was the first to raise her hand with a sugestion.

'What if we do a 3 flavered riceball?'

'That sounds discusting' one of the girls from Yukis fan club complained.

'Ya who would want a chicken, pickeled plum, and beef rice ball?'

'Makes me want to puke!' Arisa got up and in her face slaming a bloody pole that came out of noware down infront of the girl.

'Your faces and personalitys are what make me want to throw up.'

'Dont bring weapons to school!' They yelled. I started to laugh my ass off.

'Oh, god! Your faces! It hurts!' I almost fell out of my seat laughing so bad. Kyo jummped at the thought of a fight.

'What about fihting for a rice ball? no rules as long as you don't kill each other. Weapons are ok and getting body parts cut off is ok! One on one. We could use the rice balls for fighting!' That made me laugh harder!

'What a stupid funny idia! I'm in! I shot my hand up ready for a fight.

'Opposed.' The rest of the class said in unison.

'What? Why? Arisa? You don't even want to fight?' I gave her the best puppy dog face I could. Shigure would be so proud.

'Sorry kiddo. Not for a riceball.' I slumped back in my seet.

'You people are no fun.' I slumped back in my seat.

Yuki all of a sudden got a light bulb.

'What if we have a buy one get one free sale?'

'Agreed!' All the girls yelled.

'What? How come his is better?' Kyo yelled.

'Well yours is just stupid.'

'Hey, don't get upset Kyou Kyou!' One of the guys patted his head.

'Don't call me that!'

'Well I have to go to a meeting. Please get wood for the stand.' Yuki addressed the vice rep.

'Wait I have a question!' All of the girls yelled after Yuki. Kyo was getting mader and mader by the second.

'Cats!' One of the students yelled.

'How did they get in?'

'Why are they all over you Kyo?' He sat there and you could see the steem coming from his ears. While everyone was rubbing and loving the cats telling kyo they had never seen this side of him and didn't know he was a cat person, I started to get worried about him. He finaly snapped. He ran out of the room kicking the door down on his way. Befor i could think about it I chased after him.

'Kyo! Wait!' He was way faster and I eventualy lost sight of him, however knowing his personality it wasn't hard to guess his ware abouts. All cats go for the roof! It took me a bit to figure out how to get up there but I eventualy made it and slumped on to the top of the roof panting and trying to catch my breath. I guess I had startled Kyo a little. He looked shocked to see me.

'What's up cat?' I weesed. Falling flat on my face. 'Why are you-?' A cat bit my finger and I jummped up. 'Oww! Shit! God! I can see why you get a long with them. they are just like you.' I reached my hand out to the cat that bit me. He was cautious and sniffed my hand to make sure I wasn't going to hit him for biting me I guess. He eventualy rubbed my hand and let me pick him up.

'Animals always herd to there zodiac animal. One time Kagura and I were neer a mountain and got surounded by boars! I thought I was going to be eaten! Why did you come up here?'

'Are you not coming back to class? And why are you mad?' I looked away for the cat and at him and He was looking over to the edge of the building.

'No one would miss me if I didn't show up to class. Ever since we were young Yuki was the one everyone loved. They saw how smart he was and how well he could do things. He was always smart, more athletic... He didn't even try with him martial arts. I spent years working on mine and even took privet lessions in the mounians for a long time. I don't get it.' He stood up and slowly stared to walk over to the edge. I started to panic. Was he going to jump off the edge? Did he really think that he was that pothetic? I have to save him, he can't kill himself! Adrenilen racing through me I ran, making a wide arch, and superman dived him, hopping to get him away from the edge.

' Don't jump!' However he saw me coming looked at me like an idiot and stepped back so I fell right at his feet.

'How stuped are you? Why would I jump? I don't think that little of myself.' I looked up at him with tears in my eyes and sniffed.

'Really?' He let out a sigh and turned his head away from me.

'Your such an idiot.'

'Hey guys! Are you coming back to class?' Tohru came over the edge of the building opposite ware I came from and climed eisaly onto the roof.

'Wait....? How did you?' A looked at her with bewildered eyes and scratched my head trying to figure it out.

'How did I what?' Tohru asked.

'Get on the roof.' I asked.

'Oh! Goof ball! There is a ladder!' Oh god. Kyo looked at the ground and I went to go console him and then he started to bust a gut laughing, he pointed at me and continued to call me an idiot.

'I'm going down first.' I puffed as I went down the ladder. I waited for them, but after a few minutes and they hadn't shown up I went back up the ladder and yelled at them.

'You comming?' Tohru was leaning in a little with her head cocked to the side like she was lisening and she was holing a kitten, the little white one that bit me. They both looked over at me and Tohru waved.

'Coming!' What were they talking about that they couldn't say anything infront of me? The walk back to the classroom was really quiet. Once we got back Kyo got straight to work on helping with the stand. The guys made fun of him a little for the cats, but he got over it and when we got back home he sat at the table for dinner. What did Tohru tell him?

~~~in class~~~

Kyo was helping set up the stand and getting teased by the guys helping, and the girls were all swooning over Yuki. Tohru was talking to Arisa and Hanna, however when I watched Tohru I felt weird. Something was different. But I couldn't tell what was up. Hmmmmm.....

~~~The next morning~~~

Tohru and I were in the kitchen making the rice balls when Kyo walk in.
'Well your up early as always!'
'Is it such a surprise?' He went to grab a rice ball and before I could stop him he ate a leak version. I watched his face of horror and discuss and just couldn't help my self! I busted out laughing!

'You shouldn't tease him like that!' Tohru snaped. She never talked to anyone like that before. What is with her. I watched as she led Kyo away and tried to tell him that he and Yuki were special in there own ways. Like a rice ball. He really needed to hear that. Why when I was trying to give him advice yesterday that I couldn't be as helpful as that? He went on to tell her that she had one too, but it was tiny and they laughed and went on about there business. What was this feeling inside me. I was mad? Mad cause she gave better advice than me? Mad cause I couldn't help when I wanted to? What was wrong with me. I watched for a bit longer then left the two alone and flopped in my bed. Why can't I make him smile like that? Then it hit me. This has to be jealousy....
