Goodbye
You purred under Romano's touch as he stroked your (h/c) fur atop your tiny cat head. it seemed weird, but nothing really mattered to you at the moment. You were a cat! You should be fucking enjoying it!
But there was a down side. It was really awkward in the main room you all were gathered in. Awkwardness seemed to be seeping in through the ceiling and walls. It sure put a damper on being a feline who gives no fucks.
"Psst, _____. It's good to see Gilbert took good care of you. Oh never fucking mind because you're a god damn cat!" Romano whispered angrily.
You couldn't help but smirk a little. Romano was always funny.
"How did you know it was me?" You whispered back.
The usual hot-headed Italian smiled briefly. "That's easy. Only you have the brightest, most sparkling (e/c) eyes. That's how I recognized you. And I think the Scottish Bastard did too. He seems pissed off."
You purred louder in amusement.
"So who did this?" He asked, teeth clenched.
You rolled your eyes. You couldn't think of him without getting mad. "Vladimir, or Romania."
"Oh, he's a freaky bastard."
"Yeah. And Lukas is supposed to change me back but.... So far, nothing." You frowned which he returned.
Across the room, Allistor wouldn't stop staring at you. He looked almost...lost. It made chills run down your kitty spine.
He abruptly got up out of his chair, saying sorry to the others, and grabbed Gilbert's arm. He gave Romano a look and the Italian scooped you up in his arms, giving Antonio a worrying look and you four went outside.
"Romano, what's going on?" You whispered.
Once you were outside and away from everyone else, Allistor glared at Gilbert and Romano. You just say in Roma's arms awkwardly.
"You two arses better tell me what thee fuck ye did. Why is the lass a cat?! I want answers not lies!" He growled.
"Vell old friend, jou see..." Gilbert trailed off, looking at Romano for help.
"Don't-a look at-a me!" Romano exclaimed, glaring at Gilbert.
You sighed. "When you and the others crashed the party, Romano sent me away with Gilbert and- I'm sorry Allistor, I can't tell you the rest. All I can tell you is that I'm going to be going away, forever." In reality, you didn't really want to leave. You missed your friends back home.
His face fell. "Going...away?"
You nodded slowly. "I'm sorry Ali, I don't belong here."
"Sure ye do! Ye belong here, with all of us." He urged. "Where else would ye go?"
"Where I belong." You couldn't tell him about the future and how Lukas was going to send you home, you just couldn't! Jumping out of Romano's arms, you brushed against Allistor's leg and purred. "I'm sorry."
"Lass..." He whispered.
You didn't answer as you heard a rustle in the bushes, and there was Lukas.
"Don't worry." He mouthed.
"Goodbye, you'll see me again, I promise." You whispered with a sad smile and jumped away into the bushes.
Lukas was there, potion ready. "Hello _____. All you have to do is drink this then jump in the lake over there. And you'll be taken to your own time period." He nodded.
"You sure. I don't exactly trust potion thingies since..." You motioned towards yourself.
"Don't worry you'll be fine. Plus, Vladimir just likes to have fun. Oh and you'll need this." he handed you a sheet. "Sorry it's the only thing u have since you shed your garments when you turned." He mildly blushed.
"Oh, thanks."
"On the other side you'll be back in America in (current year). Goodbye _____, until we meet again. And good luck."
He set down the potion and you drank it. It tasted of chocolate. Mmm yum.
"Now quickly! Jump into the lake! And swim down, don't stop!"
Without a second thought, you plunged into the lake. The water was murky and cold as you dove strait down into the abyss. You swam, turning back into your human form.
You opened your eyes and saw the end of the passage. You were once swimming down, but now you were swimming up.
You could see the surface of the water, so bright and clear. It was approaching fast.
You reached out and your pointer finger was above the surface. Your (h/l) (h/c) hair fanned out behind you like a veil. Your head was above the surface and the sound of a gun shot rang out in the distance.
Then the ground shook.
Something was very, very wrong. Where were you?
