"I met a girl," Kaminari says as he slips into the chair opposite Kirishima.
"Okay. Good for you man." The redhead says, sipping the tea he'd bought.
"Yeah, I'm just struggling because it's been difficult to see her again."
That should have tipped Kirishima off but he continued to indulge the blonde.
"Oh? Conflicting schedules?" He asks, looking over the menu at the cafe.
"Well, kinda." Kaminari started to fidget, shifting in his seat and ignoring the menu. "You could say that."
Kirishima looks up and frowns, looking at his friend intently. Then deliberately setting the menu aside, he crosses his arms.
"What do you mean Kaminari?"
The question is met with more shifting, then Kaminari leans closer. "I met her in my dream."
Kirishima throws his hands up, "Really dude? I thought you'd met a real woman finally."
"She is real!" Kaminari defends, "I just, I just need more of that tea you gave me for my birthday."
"No." His friend replies instantly, shaking his head. "I wouldn't have gotten it if I knew it was gonna do weird stuff to you."
"I wasn't high! I swear Kirishima. It just allowed me to use my quirk to...go places." Kaminari insists, biting his lip as he tried to think how to better explain it to his friend.
"I'll set you up with a date, I think I have a friend who has a friend who is single," Kirishima says, picking the menu back up and missing the disheartened look of the blonde.
"I don't want to go on another blind date Kirishima, I want to see the girl in my dreams again." He pouts, ordering what he usually did and struggling to explain his experience. It wasn't a dream but it was. The moment with her had felt so real and he'd never been that aware in his dreams before. They always flowed like movies he was watching but never could interact with and there was something about the way she looked at him like she was right there sharing the experience with him.
Rather than argue with Kaminari, Kirishima chose to bring up the camping trip the former Class 1-A was planning. He talked about how excited he was to see everyone again with the hope that it would distract Kaminari from his desire to find out where he'd gotten the tea.The blond indulged in the conversation, but his mind couldn't let go of trying to find a way to see the woman again. That's when he remembered that Kirishima had given Midoriya the same tea. He'd have to ask the green-haired hero if he'd tried it and what he experienced when he did. It probably wouldn't end well for him but Bakugo had been with Kirishima when shopping, so maybe he knew where the tea came from. Kamainari wasn't about to give up yet, even if he couldn't find more of the tea surely there were other ways to reach her again.
"What?" He asks as he noticed Kirishima giving him a frown again, Kaminari mentally cursed over not listening to the conversation in front of him.
"I asked if you wanted to share a room with Sero, Bakugo, and myself at the cabin," Kirishima repeated, a little annoyed but not surprised Kaminari had spaced out on him.
"Yeah, sure," Kaminari replies cheerily with a smile. "Just like old times at the dorms." He gives a chuckle then glances at the food as it arrives. The conversation coming to a stop as the two ate.
