I'm just gonna say it. Overrated, toxic, makes zero sense.
Not to generalize all people who play FNaF Gacha, but an unhealthy amount of gacha kids ship this. Why? Why do they do this? Funtime Freddy is canonically an insane sadistic psychopath, (see CTW and Molten Freddy.) not necessarily the best person to be in a relationship with, especially considering that Funtime Freddy doesn't hesitate to throw Bon-Bon against a door with all his might (did you hear how loud that 'thud' is?) For his own gain. Don't get me wrong, I love Fun Fred as a character and in my AU isn't such an asshole. Still mentally unstable and homicidal, but not as much of an asshole. If it's an AU where Fun Fred isn't a homicidal motherfucker, slightly better, but even then, Bon-Bon is technically a part of Fun Fred, which is kind of weird. Ignoring that, the ship is always fetishised and seems pedophilic since Bon-Bon is always portrayed as having a very childlike state of mind and mannerisms, whilst Fun Fred acts more adult and mature. Mega yikes right there my friends. Now what does the duo think of this?
Fun Fred: What the actual fuck is this? He's literally MY TALKING HAND, BASICALLY-
Bon-Bon: Just because I'm the only one that interacts with him in Sister Location other than Mike and tries and keep him out of trouble doesn't mean I love him! I'm just being a good friend, and care about him! Have you even seen Count The Ways?

Bon-Bon: *air quotes* 'a temper.'
Fun Fred: *grumbles* Even in Digo's AU, I'm a handful to manage, what with the whole 'trained to kill' thing.

There you have it. I don't mind if you ship this (i actually do because im biased) just 1. Keep in mind that Fun Fred is not mentally stable (unless he is in your AU) 2. Don't fucking fetishise it, please. This is why everyone thinks our fandom is cringe. And 3. Don't make it weird by making one of them seem like a child ffs. It's wrong and I will not hesitate to eat all your pillows if you do this.
