Chapter 7- Well this is the dinner from Hell!

 You know that feeling when you think your so over dress but everyone is telling you that you're not.  Then you ask if you can change to something else and they snap you neck for even saying it. That is what I'm feeling right now, well a couple hours ago I did. I'm waiting in my room for someone to collected me so I can head down to the meal. I'm so bored and I hate wearing dresses, don't get me wrong it's a really nice dress but come on it's just a meal! At lest Anna couldn't make me wear the heels I'm wearing converses it was the deal for wearing the dress. For 2 hours I have had everyone in my room getting me ready for this meal. They acting like the queen of England is coming over. I have to say they did a good job of my make up and hair but I still feel really girlie. There was a quite knock on my door and then Sidney walked in. He was dress smart wearing and suite and a tie. He looked really cutie. 

"AWWW look at my little Sidney"

I mess his hair up which I could tell he has spent some time perfecting. He smiled at me and he face lit up with surprise.

"Look at you sookie. You look so pretty."

He gave me a hug and I was taken back with his compliment. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the door.

"I've been sent to get you. They said that you will probably get lost." 

Why is it I feel like I'm a prisoner in my room and Sidney isn't?  

We walk together.  When we got closer I could hear people talking and some classical music. What kind of meal is this? I felt like I have entered Pride and Prejudices world. The big stair case showed the front entrances of the house and I could see lots of people arriving and it look like there was more than 20. 

"Oh by the way don't mention the engagement."

I look at him confused and he rolled his eyes. 

"Their friends and family don't know yet, so Anna and Spencer are telling them today."

Why is it I know nothing and Sidney knows everything? Maybe I miss the meeting or something. We walk down the stair Case together and we got a lot of stares and whispers. Sidney took me to the main hall where there was lots of tables and a dance floor where some people were dancing the waltz. It's so old fashion. Anna came into my view and she ran to me with a smile. 

"AWW don't you look lovely." 

Well what is with all the compliments? Dad came to her side and he smiled at me too. 

"You look lovely darling"

And he kiss me on the cheek. Spencer came into my view and I just glared at him, but he just smiled at me. Anna notices and she nudge and gave me a pointed look. So I gave him a fake smile but still he didn't act faze by it. 

"Hey sook you look lovely"

Did he just called me sook? So we are on nick name now? 

"Hey Spence dog"

He didn't seem impress with his Nick name I could of called him worst, but I not that mean. Anna elbowed me. 

"Isn't she funny"

She did a awkward laugh. 

"Well I would like you too meet some people"

Anna look around and then spotted the people she was looking for.We then walk towards them. A woman who look to be in her early 40s stood there with a man who also look about he was in his late 40s. The both looked posh and rich but the warm smile she gave me said different. The man next her had a sharp chin and Green eyes. He was very good looking for an old guy. The woman next to him was also very pretty she a wore a red dress and Brown eyes just like Spencer. She sort glowed with her pale skin and bright red lips. Imfact they all sorted glowed, even Spencer and he not even pale.
