Chapter 10

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

It's Monday March 14, 2011 and it's spring break Jacob, Dani's Dad and Diana, Mason's Mom have booked all of us rooms at this huge cabin that has 18 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms it can hold up to 84 people at a time.. Wow.. It's located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee the county is Sevierville home of country music singer Dolly Parton. I drive my car up there to meet Riley and the others. Riley had to work at the grocery store until 4:30 pm today so she would be a little late. Sevierville is about forty-six minutes away depending on the traffic it is about an hour. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Tennessee. Dani has finally gotten her car because she's had her permit for awhile Jacob bought her a brand new white 2011 BMW M3 she is driving Carly up here too. I gave Jenny and Cheyenne a ride up with me they are still fourteen and can't get their permits yet. I find the road to turn in and I go up this long road that seems like it goes on forever until I see this gigantic cabin at the very top I pull into the parking lot across from the cabin and get out so does Jenny and Cheyenne. We look around and it's nothing but woods and buildings from down below. I walk around to my trunk and open it I pull out a big duffel bag with my clothes for seven days Jenny and Cheyenne get there bags out and Cheyenne closes the trunk. I see Jacob's white 2011 Mercedes pull in beside my car soon Dani pulls in beside it. Dad pulls in with his truck him and Mom get out with their bags. The sound of an engine roaring catches everyone's attention Jesse's 2011 Mustang Gt pulls up the hill and parks beside Dad's truck out step her and Brandon with bags. Another engine roars followed by another I look over and see Sam's 2011 Charger and Riley's they pull in beside Jesse. The sound of another engine comes up the hill it's Kim's 2011 Dodge Challenger she parks by Riley's car. Jacob looks at all of us and said " Good everyone is here". Diana and Mason Sr. are standing over at Diana's white 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. Eric, Mason, Shelby and Mikayla are walking from Eric's truck with their stuff. An older man in his mid fifties walks out to the middle of the parking lot with us. He said " Mr. Patterson?" Jacob said " Yes sir". He looks around at us women and said " And Mrs. Williams?" Diana said " That's me". He said " Good there is a slight problem". Jacob said " What is it?" The man said " Every couple has there own room but I only have one more room available so the other two people are gonna have to share a room". Kim and Jacob look at each other then Jacob said " What about the other rooms?" The man said " They are full. I'm sorry for the inconvenience". Jacob looks at Kim and said " Are you comfortable with sharing a room with me?" Kim said " Of course Jacob". The man said " Very well then follow me inside and we'll get y'all settled". We walk in through the front door and see this huge living room with several leather couches and leather chairs to the right is big open kitchen with a long island down the middle, there are two stoves and two microwaves plus two dishwashers. In front of the island is a long marble counter top with two sinks with the dishwashers, In front of the sinks is about six wooden tables with chairs. He leads us upstairs to the bedrooms. He leads all of us to our rooms that leaves Kim and Jacob in the room across the hall from me and Riley. The room has a big queen sized bed with a sofa against the right wall. A big flat screen TV is mounted in the right corner of the room in view of the bed and the couch. Jacob said " I'll take the couch you take the bed". Kim said " Are you sure?" He said " I'm not making you sleep on the couch". The man said " Just let me know if you need anything". Kim sits her bag on the bed and walks out into the hallway where Carly and Dani walk out of their room beside ours. Dani and Carly are giving them weird looks. Kim said to them " Are you two alright with us sharing a room?" Dani said " I'm not gonna lie it is a bit weird". Carly said " Yeah kinda". Jacob said " Kim and I are just friends you guys have nothing to worry about". Dani said " Good because I'd rather my girlfriend not turn into my step sister cause that is so gross". Carly and Dani cringe. The sound of evil giggles fill our ears we look down the hall. Kim said " You've got to be kidding me". Kelly and Kevyn walk down the hall and stop in the middle between us. Kelly said " Well isn't this a coincidence". Kevyn looks at me, Riley, Dani and Carly. She said " Hello girls". Kelly looks in the room then looks at Kim and Jacob. She giggles " You two sharing a room?" Jacob said " Well we'd have our own rooms if you guys didn't take up the rest". They walk down the hallway and Kelly stops and said to Dani " Careful or she'll sleep with your Dad too". She looks at Kim and she flips her off. Kelly said to Kim " You couldn't handle me sweetie". she winks at Kim as she walks off. Dani said " She is so strange". Kim said " You have no idea I have put up with her for twenty-eight years". Jacob said " Yeah I remember how mean she was to you back then". Kim said to us " Kelly used to date Kyle back then. When she realized I liked him she made it her mission to destroy me. She almost succeeded". Kim has this tense look in her eyes. Riley and I go into the room and close the door to change into our bathing suits well a top and basketball shorts I don't like bikini bottoms they are uncomfortable to me. I'm wearing a black bikini top with black basketball shorts, Riley is wearing a navy blue bikini top with navy blue basketball shorts. We walk out of the room and turn left then a quick right down the stairs. We turn right walking under the hallway above with some of the rooms to a glass door that leads into the indoor pool. We walk in and there is a long pool that leads all the way to the other side of the room where a wall is. I see Mom and Dad in the shallow end of the pool with Jesse, Brandon, Diana, Mason Sr., Jacob and Kim they are leaned up against the left pool wall while Cheyenne, Jenny, Carly, Dani, Sam and Valerie swim around in front of them a few feet away. Eric and Mason are at the end jumping in at the deep end while Shelby and Mikayla sit in chairs on the right side of the room watching them. As we walk in the shallow end I look over at Kelly who is leaned up against the front wall of the pool on the right a little away from the steps she is wearing a bathing suit top that has white strings and the cups of the top is black she is wearing black and white bathing suit bottoms her toned six pack glistens as the water drips off it. She gives me and Riley an evil look I swim over to the right wall with Riley to join the girls. Mason is walking around to the front of the pool where Kelly is in the water we look and see Eric at the very end. He throws a blue and yellow foam football and Mason dashes across the pool floor and dives over Kelly he catches the ball in his mouth and does a flip landing feet first creating a big splash that soaks Kelly. Everyone snickers as she growls in annoyance. Mason throws the football and Eric catches it. He said " Gross dude you slobbered on it". Eric bends down and rinses off the saliva in the pool. Mason said to Kelly sarcastically " My bad". Kelly pushes back her wet dark curly brown hair and said with sarcasm " Sure you are twerp". Mason said " I didn't know you could swim? I thought you'd melt if you got in water". Everyone snickers Kelly glares at Mason. She said " Just play with your butt buddy wolf boy". Mason turns around and catches the foam football then throws it back. Eric throws the ball and Kelly looks at it for a few seconds until it turns into a King Cobra snake. Mason exclaims in surprise as he catches it. It hisses loud and he slings it into the water. The rest of us scatter out of the pool as Kelly laughs wickedly the snake goes under water then up out of the water comes Adrian. She was the snake Kelly used a power called Transmogrification to make the football turn into a snake then into Adrian. She looks up at Dani as she runs her fingers through her dirty blonde hair. Sam said " I knew that bitch was a snake".
