Downing the last shot of tequila before I head out to my bed, I staggered out of the pavilion after I waved goodnight to Doyoung. It was my best friend's wedding night and the party was lively and fun. The groom, Jaehyun, and his bride, Jungwoo was nowhere to be found so I head out without saying goodbye to them before they leave for their honeymoon.
Today, was a happy day for me. I looked out at the moon thoughtfully and smiled. Jaehyun, my best pal, can finally have the happy ending he deserved. Although, it's a bit sad if he will not be able to hang out with us anymore because he's a married man now. But as long as he was happy, then Doyoung and I will be happy for him too.
Clumsily, I wobbled down the path to where I thought my room was. I was dead tired and drunk that I didn't remember which part of the big mansion it was located. So it took me a few turns before I finally gave up and slumped on the nearest bench that I could find. I was about to nod off in the dark when I suddenly heard someone coming to my direction.
"I was looking for you," a man with a seductive voice said.
"Oh? It's you," I nodded with a grin. He was the man I was dancing with earlier at the pavilion. He must have been worried that I left without saying a word. "Sorry, I felt dizzy so I step out for a while," I mumbled.
"Do you want to lay down?"
"Ah...I want to but I cannot seem to find my room," I chuckled.
"Then you can rest in mine. I don't mind," he responded without delay.
I saw him walk towards me and pulled me up with his slim arm as if I weigh like a feather. His warm body made me drowsy even more and I leaned on him without thinking. "S-Sorry, I must be heavy," I said when I finally realized that I was putting my own weight on him.
"No, you're pretty light for a tall man like you,"
I hummed my reply and let him guide me to his room. He was no stranger after all since we have talked, danced, and drunk while the party was going. And somehow his scent of warm cedarwood and berries made me relax and comfy.
Half awake, we finally arrived at his room. He brought me to his bed and mumbled something about getting me a glass of water when I suddenly grabbed his wrist and stopped him. "Say, do you like me?" I asked bluntly with the help of the tequila I have earlier.
"Well, you are handsome..." he answered without answering my question.
"Handsome enough to kiss me?"
He remained silent for a few seconds before avoiding my question again. "You must be drunk,"
"Yes, I must be or else I might not be offering my precious lips to you,"
I thought I was imagining it but his eyes glinted with a golden glow in the dark. He was smaller than me with a slim and sexy body. His suit which he was wearing at the party made him stand out and made him look like he was a model. I guess that was what attracted me to him, his fashion sense and confidence.
"I don't take advantage of drunk men," he finally responded.
"Don't worry I gave my consent," I replied before pulling him closer for a kiss. His lips were warm and inviting. He responded to my kisses without the fake hesitation that he was spouting a while ago. To me, it looked like he was waiting for me to make the first move.
