I'll be back

The day was young and the sky had not yet retained the fabled blue color it is known for. The autumn day like any other covered in the morning orange glow just like it had the day before."Mother" a young girl with caramel brown lucios hair that dangled across her colar bone called out. Her honey dew yellow eyes looking out side the window seeing the plane covered by the orange light from the early morning.

"Yes dear"

"When will you be back home?" The mother took a slight pause looking at the young girl before her face turned melancholy as she too looked out the window. Contemplating how she was going to tell the little one that one day she might not return form one of her expeditions.

"You see the horizon line in the far distance right" the middle aged woman paused as she saw her daughter nod with the slight movement of her delicate tiny head. "Well every morning the sun gives us a beautiful fiery sky as it comes into view but later in the day it disappears once more " the girl nods."Well mommy's just like the sun. She goes away for a little while and during that time you might feel a little sad because you don't feel her warmth but in the morning she comes back" she smiles looking back at the girl who is now focused on every slight sound that has come out of her mother's mouth. " but the sun never really goes away darling, but is traveling back to be able to see you again. Even though the sun is not always there it is always watching over you. Understand?" The girl nods her head as a bright smile crosses her face assuring the mother that she had understood.

The young girl stood up looking out to the beautiful multicolored tinted sky one last time before grabbing her suitcase and her favored book signaling that she was ready to go.

"Wake up sleepy head" Eren's mom exclaimed roughly lifting the covers off the boy's peaceful sleeping body in order to have him to leave the covers of his bed. After few silent moments he started to shift uncomfortably in his bed while putting his only pillow above his ear leaving his head in undesirable position. "Breakfast is ready and waiting" the hazle eyed beauty said as she opened a droor revealing the boys favorited shirt and pants. Grabbing them she layed them on his bed opposite to the boys head. Eren still had his eyes shut refusing to open them and adjust to the light as his mom left and shut the door behind her. "HURRY UP, WE HAVE A GUEST COMING SOON." His mother exclaimed causing the young boy to groan chucking his pillow across  his tiny room as he stood up mumbling angrily about his sleep being disturbed.

He greeted both of his parents coming down the stairs trying to hide his angry glare from the couple. Placing the bowl of food in front of Eren Carla, his mother proceded to try and brush the boys tangled hair with her fingers resulting in a tiny shove of rebellion from the boy garfing down his food. As the two argued back and forth a small knock was heard from the primary door. Eren watched as his father put down the medical tools he was placing in his suit case, preparing for another busy day at work, and placed his hands on his knees as he stood up from the old chair he was sitting on and answered the door. Apparently the young lad had become amused and forgotten about the small feud him and his mother were having and copied his fathers actions by picking himself up to stand. Mr. Yeager  opened the door and gave a smile to the rather tall young girl who was on the other side of the wooden slab. 

"good morning Mr. Yeager" the golden eyed girl said as she returned his smile.

"Ah you must be layla's daughter, Good morning. I understand that you will be staying with us for a few days while your mother goes on an expedition" y/n nodded " come in please we're having breakfast" the girl peaks her head through the door as her unique eyes caught the young boy standing behind his father curiously .

" hi I'm y/n" y/n said extending her arm with a genuine smile on her face towards the boy with teal eyes.
