Todoroki's PoV:
It's been a couple days since I told Aizawa about the abuse. It's been tense. Everyone has been cautious around me. Aizawa informed me yesterday that he'd cancelled on his visitors which meant I could stay for longer. Well, at least I know I'm just annoying people and causing them pain and suffering. I just want to leave and run away to a foreign country and never return but Aizawa-sensei and Yamada-sensei are watching everything I do and taking me to and from school. It is impossible to escape.
We haven't talked about that night since then, but I have heard Aizawa-sensei talking to Yamada-sensei in hushed whispers but can't make out what they say.
The bell rings, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Finally I can leave these assholes," Bakugou says bitterly before storming out of the classroom, Kirishima tripping over himself in a rush to follow behind. There's something not quite right with him.
"Hey, Todoroki," Midoriya says, walking over to my desk. I stand up and grab my school bag, pulling it over my shoulder. "Do you want to hang out?"I glance over at a tired, glaring homeroom teacher. "I'm not available today. Maybe another time," I reply simply. "Now, if you'll excuse me." I walk past Midoriya and out of the classroom, Aizawa-sensei closely following.
We walk out of the school in absolute silence and towards the white Jeep Compass. I slide into the backseat while Aizawa-sensei joins Yamada-sensei in the passenger seat. We drive off. I stare at the scenery. Little kids hold their parents' hands with broad smiles plastered on their faces.
"Todoroki, we need to discuss what to do about your... situation," Aizawa-sensei says firmly.
I continue to stare outside. "It's unnecessary. I'll be fine," I calmly say. I feel like I'm always trapped in the invisible grasp of Dad. He's always following me, watching everything I do and silently preparing a punishment upon returning home. It's terrifying. A shudder runs down my spine.
"Kid, your situation is dire. We need you out of there quickly," he says sympathetically.
I turn to face the passenger seat and say sharply, "And how will you do that exactly? Endeavor is the number 2 hero. No one will believe that he does that stuff. There is no way you'll be able to fight Endeavor. Just admit that there is nothing you can do."
"Calm down, Little Listener. We'll figure something out, I promise over my dead body that we'll get you out of there," Yamada-sensei supports.
"Wow, how heroic," I say sarcastically. I have no faith that these two can save me from Dad. It isn't possible.
They fall silent. Aizawa speaks up, "I'm going to call the child protection services. I'm getting you out of there."
I twiddle my fingers and stare at my lap with a frown. I hate this...

Aizawa's PoV:
"Hello, how may I help you?" a male asks on the other end of the line.
"I'm reporting a case of child abuse," I say firmly.
"Who is the child?"
"Shoto Todoroki."
There's a short silence before the male says, "As in Endeavor's son? The one in U.A.?"
"Yes. I am the kid's homeroom teacher."
"Why do you suspect the number 2 hero for child abuse?"
"Shoto Todoroki told me about an instance of the abuse a few days ago."
There's a brief silence before he awkwardly says, "We'll investigate this situation. May I get your number to stay in contact with you?"
"Sure. It's (enter a random number)."
"Thankyou, sir."
The phone call ends, and I sigh. I step into Todoroki's room. "They are going to investigate the case," I say.
He looks up from whatever he's doing on his phone. "Really? That's a surprise," he mumbles, shocked before returning his attention to his phone.
I sigh and leave the room, returning to Hizashi's and mine. I open the door and explain how the call while getting comfortable by his side. We sit in peaceful silence, just enjoying the quality time spent together. "I was thinking, Hizashi, if everything goes to plan and that bastard goes to prison, should we adopt Todoroki?"
