Eps 1: Father and Daughter Dance

Dipper POV

" HEY DIPPER!" Said Mabel shouts at me.

"ah! [grunts] Mabel, you know I hate shouting." And I continue reading a book.

Today there's nothing special or something. We just wanna chill out a bit in the shack. Like, do nothing or sleeping. Yesterday was exhausted. We chased by a half Monster and a half alien with Mabel!

"You've always hate everything. Anyway, today is the Father and Daughter dance tonight! I can't wait!"

"Who will you bringing with?"

"Dad, of course!" Said Mabel. I think it's not a good idea.

Last time, our school have parents meeting and only my dad can't come! He just working and busy. After a silence in a while, I asked her again.

"Did you called him?"

"I'm gonna!"

She grabs the telephone and types dad's phone number. Can't believe dad's going here! I missed him and also mom.

"hey, dad! I've been wondering. Today is the father and daughter dance in gravity falls! Will you come? what? You, what? Okay... It's okay dad. I know. Later" she hungs up and her face turns sad.

Oh no, I know this could happen. Poor Mabel.

"What did he say?"

In all the sudden, Mabel cries. She cries like a little baby. Her cry is really loud and disturb full. But it ain't disturb to me. I know what dad said to Mabel. She always wanted to spend time with him, just once. Even when we were born, mom said that dad is in Mexico. What a jerk! He even didn't showed up at our birth!

But then, I got a text from Pacifica. Yeah, we've been together (friend) a while, since I helped her. Her texts is really funny. I laughed!!!

"What are you laughing about?" Said Mabel and clear her tears.

"Just texting Pacifica. She thinks that ducks can jump. You wanna look the video?" I said so she can cheer up a bit.

"[grunts] it's not funny about ducks! I hate ducks! But mostly frogs..." Said Mabel.

And then Wendy comes in into our room. Btw, I move on from Wendy. I hope she doesn't make any trouble between me and Pacifica.

"Hey, you guys. check this photo!" Said Wendy. She's showing her phone and there's a pic

Oh no! It's me! A picture of me and Pacifica hugging! How did she get this?! Oh god!!!

"WENDY! WHERE DID you get that?! Who took that picture!"

"I took that picture. I was looking for a bathroom and saw you guys crashed out from the window! And hugged!" Wendy laughs

"I want you to delete that pic! It's.. It's embarrassing!"

"nu-uh! Wait until Stan sees this on email! Besides, it's cool."

"Give me that!!!" I grabbed her phone.

I saw a text said 'sent photo'

"[laughs from downstairs] dipper and Pacifica?! " said grunkle Stan from down stairs.

"What's wrong with you, chump?" Said Wendy to Mabel.

"My dad can't come to the dance tonight. [sighs] [eats crackers] he always been busy on father daughters dance. Every year since I was 6" and then Mabel throws the crackers to the wall.

"I'm sure dad will go this next year. Hey, let's go breakfast."

" Yeah.. I'll worry about it later."
