Welcome to Hopes Peak Academia!

Hopes Peak Academia. A prestigious school in Japan that is dedicated to educating very specific students. Students who are extremely intelligent in a certain field of practice. There's the ultimate breakdancer, a professional who has been performing for years and is almost recognized by everyone. There's also the ultimate street artist, nobody has seen their face in public because they are always wearing a gas mask not only to protect their privacy but to protect themselves from the toxic fumes.

Alongside their ultimates, they have quirks, and only if they have been given an ultimate title and a powerful quirk, they will be given the choice to join this prestigious school. Many have heard that if you are able to graduate from this school, you would have a successful career in the future and would be set for life. 

The expectations were high, but I managed to make it to this legendary school. As soon as I had received that email, and checking if it was fake multiple times, I began to shed tears from how ecstatic I was. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and there was no way I would turn it down. And that's where I am right now, by the gates of this school. I, Izuku Midoriya, am now an official student at Hopes Peak Academia.

I barely got any sleep for the past few days because all I could look forward to was this moment and now that it has arrived, I felt too nervous to step foot inside. I felt like an outsider even though I was seen to have the same potential as everybody else. Instead, I walked to a shop close by first to pick up a drink not only to wake me up but to shake these unnecessary thoughts out of my head. 

The shop was quite small but nonetheless their menu had a large variety of drinks even the one I especially wanted, an iced matcha bubble tea. I ordered and paid and was now waiting to be rung up. They had no other customers which is reasonable as I left my house pretty early because I didn't want to be late at any cost.  The drink was finished in about a minute and when they rang me up I thanked them and tipped some of the spare change I had. I left thanking them one last time by the door. I began to make my way back to the school taking occasional sips at my drink. It was even more delicious than I had imagined it and ended up down the whole thing.

Let's go through this one more time. I, Izuku Midoriya, have been accepted to go to the prestigious school Hopes Peak Academia and this first step will be a memorable one. It was as if it was in slow motion when I took that first step but as soon as I was inside the school gates my vision began failing me. Everything was spinning and I immediately felt sick. I tried to hold onto the gate to keep my balance but missed, collapsing to the floor.

When I next woke up I found myself in a dim room slumped over a desk at the front. H-huh? My eyes slowly began to open and I realised that I was in a classroom but nobody was there except for me. The only light in this room was coming from a small lamp at the front. It only illuminated a small area around me. Before I got up, I saw there was a small note in front of me and in handwriting, I could barely read it read, 'Go to the main hall at 8 sharp, don't be late'. I quickly searched the room for a clock and found one near the corner. It was only a minute before 8. If I wanted any answers I better be there. I got up from the desk I was sleeping on and rushed out the door. 

The hallway was pretty long but luckily each door had a label on it. I ran through one of the halls, checking each of the labels, and eventually, I came across a pair of double doors labeled 'Main Hall'. I took a deep breath in and with all my strength opened the doors. What I saw was nothing of what I expected. 19 other students were staring at me as soon as I had opened the doors. I know first impressions are very important but at this moment I don't think anybody cared about that. 

"Hey do you think this is the last person," said a tall person with a bird head and a deep voice.
"Yep! I think so," said a brown haired girl cheerily. She turned to me and introduced herself.
"Hi! My name is Ochaco Uraraka the ultimate astronomer and my quirk is zero gravity, i dream to fly to space one day!". She startled me with how bouncy she is and in return, I also introduced myself.
"Midoriya, huh? nice to meet you!" she said. She sounded so happy to meet me i knew inside me that she would be a great friend.

heyy. thank you everyone who read my other stories but after a few weeks, i saw the story wasn't getting anywhere and stopped for a while until i finally came up with a new idea a few days ago which i think is way better.
