Chapter Seven: Just The Way You're

Cassandra's POV

"you shouldn't have come! you only caused troubles for us like always" i heard a murmur, i don't know who was saying that. my head is so heavy and it hurting me like there's a dozen of rocks on it. i slowly opened my eyes to a wooden ceiling, the voices around me shutted, and i slowly moved my head a little to see a corner of white walls. i'm in my room! i got up so fast and when i did i felt like the whole room is spinning around me.

"sweetheart you need to rest" it's Mom she said while slightly forcing me to lay down again . how did i get in here? i was just lying under that tree in the meadow, why was i there in the first place?

i didn't want to lay again. i took her hands from my shoulders and held them. "how did you found me?" i asked her, my voice was barely heard. "you know you told me about the place the last time we were in here" she said with a weak smile. "oh right.." i murmured and looked around the room. i didn't notice the people around me, there was Dad standing near my Mom and Emily behind them and... Bruno Mars? wait a minute.. why was Bruno Mars in my room? am i dead? is it heaven? my head ached me more reminding me that there's no pain in heaven. wait wait i remember, he was the reason i went there.. no not him, but them! and obviously the one who was talking is my Father, he was talking to Bruno.

i strongly held my head with my hands as my head ached more stronger this time.  "Get out of my room!!" i shouted on them with fury. the worried expression was written all over their faces except for Bruno, his face was.. hurt?

"calm down Cassandra! you need to rest. we are here to help you" Dad said while putting is hand on mine. "what? help? what help?! why you both didn't tell me?! as my parents you should have told me! all this happened because of you both!" i pointed my finger at them as i shout and turned to Emily "and you! aren't we so close like sisters?! why?! just why you didn't tell me?! why didn't all of you just tell me?!" i felt my head heavier than before and my tears began to pour, i laid down again. "as your parents there's things that we keep away from you for your own good--" Dad started to talk but Mom interrupted him "just let her calm down, she isn't alright" she softly said. "i see no point. please get out of here, all of you" while my back is facing them i calmly said, not because i was calm; because i was exhausted.

i heard a soft noise coming from the door which meant someone opened it, and footsteps. i focused on them, it's my Dad who's getting out and then Mom next to him, i can recognize their footsteps perfectly. and that must be Emily. all of them got out except for Bruno i guess unless he got out before i notice the tone of the familiar footsteps but. i heard light footsteps getting out and i turned around to see him, he was about to get out.

"wait.." i sat down as he turned, he was still wearing the same sweatpants i saw it on him earlier. i blushed "sorry, for you hearing all of this .." i tried to comb my messy hair with my hands a bit. "it's okay, the more important to me is that you're safe now" he said with a weak smile. "thank you" i blushed again. "anytime." he turned and said "your Mom brought you food and some vitamins. you need them" there was something in his voice that i didn't understand. i glanced at the small table on my left to see a small plate of Pomegranate seeds, chicken soup, a glass of water and my pack of vitamins. "oh" is all what i could say. he was about to get out. "wait.. " he turned again with same expression that i didn't understand "do you need to talk or something? you don't seem alright" i softly asked him. "says the one who ran away just after she saw her favorite singer" he leaned on the door frame and smirked "or her crush maybe?" he said while looking at the big poster of him hanging on the wall. i blushed, this is embarrassing "shut up" i quietly said and threw a pillow towards him. he laughed and picked it up before it was going to hit him on the shoulder "i'm just joking to change your mood! it seems like it's worked! who would believe that you were screaming like crazy a few minutes ago" i said still laughing and i frowned. he noticed and stopped laughing and his face went serious a bit "give me a minute" he said and went out "hey! i was joking!" what just happened? he's right. me myself can't believe that i was shouting a minutes ago.

i took the plate and the spoon and ate few bites. after a couple of minutes he came back .. with his guitar?? oh my God!

he noticed my expression and grinned. "what song would you like to hear?" he said still grinning while placing the small chair of my dresser near my bed, near me.

"what?" he said when he sat down and looked at me. "you're really amazing" blushing a bit i said. he Scratched the back of his head nervously and blushed a bit. aw cute! "i would love to hear just the way you're" he smiled "okay.." he fixed something on the top and started..

Falls perfectly without her trying" he glanced at me with a look that i didn't understand but it warmed my heart and sent shivers in my body.

Just the way you are"  he sang the last part while starting at me. and i forgot everything for a moment, the plate on my lap, the headache, everything happened earlier. i wish that he didn't stop singing. "what do you think?" he asked while leaning a bit closer to me. "i'm speechless. you're really amazing. i've been dreaming of this day from so long! thank you!" i said with full emotional. he smiled and looked down at his guitar and fixed something on the top "you didn't have to thank me" he stood up. "now, i have to leave you so you can change and rest. and obviously finishing your food" he nodded towards the plate on my lap. "yeah, " i said while looking down and nervously playing with the spoon. he went to awards the door and gave me one last smile before closing the door.

what just happened?!
