Bruno Mars, Cousin?!

Chapter Nine: Cheating Rumors?!

Cassandra's POV

I woke up with a strong headache. my hair is tangled and messy. and i'm still wearing my sweater but without my jeans! the room is dirty with a lot of beer cans and pizza boxes! what the hell happened last night?!!
i suddenly felt a touch on my leg, i immediately turned to my side to see BRUNO SLEEPING NEXT TO ME!! okay seriously WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED! he was shirtless and his hat was covering the half of his face, he clearly put it to cover up his eyes.

i checked the clock on the wall, it says it's 8:20 a.m! i shook Bruno to wake him up "Bruno! Bruno! wake up!" i said in a throaty voice. he moaned "just more 5 minutes.." and flipped himself to the other side. "Peter Freakin Gene Hernandez wake the hell up!!!" i shook him stronger this time and he finally woke up.

"do you remember anything from last night?!" i asked him as soon as he fully woke up. he got up and did some morning exercises like he didn't hear me say anything. "earth to Mars! i'm talking to you!" i said while waving my hand. "we probably ordered pizza and maybe stool a lot of beer cans" he was heading to the door, he tried to open it but it was locked! "and yeah we clearly locked the door" he said while chuckling. "well done detective!" i said in a sarcastic tone while clapping my hands twice and he laughed.

He unlocked the door and was about to get out but he turned to me "by the way! i had so much fun last night! even though i don't remember so many things but still, we should hangout again soon!" he was smiling a beautiful bright smile showing his cute dimples, Gosh why can't you be mine?
i coughed and blushed "sure! i had fun too!" i returned the smile. "i'm going to make breakfast, wanna join me?"
"I'd love to but they must be downstairs and i don't want them to see me like that" i murmured. "um.. no one is here actually!" he said while staring at something on the door. "what! what do you mean?!" i half shouted. "come see yourself!" i got up immediately and went to where he stands. there was a note pinned on the door! it says:

Cassandra. the whole family went to ski on the mountains, we tried to wake you up but you didn't plus the door was locked. and we didn't find Bruno in his room! any idea where he is? anyway you can both come and join us later. Emily.

wow! so.. i am home alone.. with Bruno..
i even forgot that i'm pants less because of the shock! well.... who cares?

"are you planning on joining them later?" i asked him, still not taking my gaze off of the note. "i don't think they would welcome me there" he said while looking at the note for a few seconds then turned to me "it's breakfast time! why don't you go wear something while i'm preparing the things we will need" Aw there's a we ! how cute! "okay!"

he went downstairs and i entered my room again and wore something comfortable. oversized sweatshirt and a pair of leggings. i checked out my phone to see A LOT of notifications! a lot of retweets, replies, favorites and followers! i even made it to appear in web articles !! there was an article talking about "who's that mysterious girl standing next to Bruno Mars without any clothes" a lot of bullshit and nonsense words, even cheating rumors?! what the fuck is wrong with you people?! and i was wearing CLOTHES

i ran downstairs as fast as i can to the kitchen. Bruno was already there making eggs while Whistling. i hate to ruin his mood but he must see this bullshit!
he noticed me and stopped. i was panting. "woh! what happened?" he asked.
"you.. need to see..this" i was panting between words, he became more confused so i gave him the phone. his eyes got wide but then they became normal again. "don't worry! everyone knows it's bullshit! but this website crossed the line with the suspicious cheating rumors thing!"
oh no. that looks bad
"so what are you going to do?"

" i will talk to my manager and Jessica" he handled me my phone and brought his to probably call his manager.

when he said Jessica's name i felt an ache in the heart, am not being dramatic but i know that he will never be mine, it's impossible, i mean he's my freakin cousin and even if he wasn't he will never think about me like that, every model and girl dreams about him and there's a lot of girls who are way more prettier than me so why me?

i didn't realize that i was so deep down on my thoughts until Bruno touched my shoulder. "hey! you alright?" he asked me with concern. "yeah am alright! what happened?" i smiled a bit. "well i talked to him and to Jessica and we are going to meet them in his office after half hour"
"we?! excuse me?!" i asked him with a disapproval "don't look at me like that okay! i know you are not going to follow them later and i don't want to leave you here alone!" Aw how sweet! i should definitely shut up.
"okay i'm coming! but you need to chill man!" he sighed. "go change i will wait you in the car" he said while heading to the front door. "but i'm hungry! Bruno!" he didn't bother looking at me and continued walking. "be quick okay" and he's out. what the hell is wrong with you man!

i ran upstairs and grabbed whatever coat was on my face, and wore my snow boots. i didn't bother changing my sweatshirt and i didn't comb my hair because i wore a Beanie to cover it and ran downstairs as fast as i can.

the road trip was quite, um not exactly quite. well Bruno actually argued with me about tweeting the picture and then about the songs. the song "the lazy song" was on the radio and i wanted to listen to it but he refused because he hates it. that was on the beginning, and after that we kept or mouths shut.

we're now sitting on one of those luxury leather chairs on this wide office. it has a huge window with a breathtaking view! i can't imagine how magically it would look like at night! and yeah we're waiting for Bruno's manger to come.
"shouldn't he be here already? it's have been half hour since we came!" i asked with boredom while placing my cheek on the cold leather. "i don't know why he didn't come yet. something must have happened" he said looking nervous.
i immediately sat on the chair with boredom since we came here but Bruno wasn't like me, he looked tense and was sitting on the edge of the chair.

suddenly someone opened the door and he was Bruno's manager! finally! "i apologize for being late i got trapped on the traffic" the manager said while shaking Bruno's hand and then shaking mine. "who's the lady?" he asked Bruno while looking at me with a smile. "this is Cassandra Hernandez, my cousin" Bruno said with a smile while putting on hand on my shoulder.

"where is Jessica? i thought she is coming with you?!" Bruno asked after we sat again. "oh Jessica is on her way she's probably coming right now" the manager said while rearranging some of the messy papers on his desk. just after he finished his sentence the door opened and Jessica appeared..
