Looking up at the clear blue sky threw the apartment window I listen to the birds heralding the dawn and the day that was approaching. Closing the curtains I turn to the mirror to see what I looked like after way too many drinks and the worst and first heartbreak ever...

"Damn, Leo you look like you have crawled in a ditch and died..."

I say that because for some reason I have leaves and sticks in my disheveled grey hair, my jeans are torn and covered in dirt and mud, my white shirt is no longer white, its now covered in as much muck as you could get from who knows what. Grass stains, mud stains and stains from whatever I fell in.   The bags under my eyes are GoRgEoUs I mean how dark can they get? if I was into black and white like those goths just down the street then I would be loving it. Honestly I look and feel like I'm dead or dying.

"come on Leo you got this, just get breakfast and you can go to school. Just who knows how many hours of teachers asking if im OK and kids staring at me thinking I'm crazy or something."

Going to the cupboard and looking at what I have left over from my allowance. 

"Looks like I need to go shopping some time this week... I wonder when I'm going to get payed..."

The cupboard was empty so i grave a glass and have a drink of water then grave a energy drink from the fridge and get ready for school and hope that my MP3-player has enough charge. I don't think i could survive one day at school without SOMETHING to drown out everyone's endless prattle.

"I hope they sent my allowance for the next couple of weeks otherwise I will starve to death"

After getting ready for school and making sure that I didn't look like death itself I make my way to school. turning on my MP3-player and putting my earbuds in I was feeling alright when the guy's from the party showed up...
