No matter how much I thought about it I know that I can't just hide in my locker.

I want to hide in my locker but if I do then he will ask why I did not show up, or he might complain.. or look for me. I don't want to go.

I can feel his eyes on me, I hope that nobody notices.

"Leo, once class is over, get your sorry ass to the gym."

I can only assume that Nano has noticed mister sunshine's eyes on me, or maybe she heard what I said to him... 

"you should go back over. the bell will ring soon be early to class not late. don't want to ruin your mister sunshine perfect boy image. everyone has painted you to be some kind of fucking god, sent here to make them better. I don't buy there bullshit. you look like a spoilt brat with a stick up his ass."

Definitely not the smartest thing I could of said. Maybe I can ignore her this once, maybe she will think i could not hear her? . . . no I can't I have to go.

"... Now class, your assignment for this week is a group project, you and one other person will have to write a book complete with illustrations. You will be judged based on the story content and the relevance of the artworks-"

something I could do easily...

 "-this is to be done in pairs, nobody can be in a group bigger than 2 and nobody can work by themselves since we now have an even number of students. pick your partners and the rest of the class time is for your project."

great, who would partner with me? true I could do it by myself and the other get an easy A, but who would? Well, nobody really knows how well the other students would react to my illustrations and storyline? 

"hey, Spark want to partner up with me~"

Nano's jumping on the new kid...

"you should partner with me Sparkie boy"

and so is Nathan

"I apologise, I want to ask Leo to partner up with me for this project-"

"Don't waste your breath my dude, people only partner up with him if he is the last option and honestly, why partner with him anyway just call him a slave and get it over and done with, using him you can get an easy A no matter what the subject."

"Well, Nathan, why don't you partner with Nano? that way neither of you have to partner with Leo because he is so beneath your level, i'm only asking to partner with him so that you two don't have to"

They have already corrupted him, but the sun still shines out his ass..

"He makes a good point Nathan, plus, its kind of like a charity thing, neither of us would be caught dead with him and survive the aftermath, but like, he could, and he could be even more popular because of it"

keep going, talk about it like its the debate club and im not even here you pathetic waste of space.

"fine, Nano what kind of story you want to do? can you draw?"

"I can draw but not very well, you should know that by now"

I guess the new guy's name is Spark.. 

"Hey leo, about before i-"

Nano and Nathan are talking about just doing a picture book, minimal effort you know. What kind of book will Spark want to make? or will he just leave it to me...

"okay, how about, we work on the book after school today? i mean, its not much different from what i originally planned haha"

I don't want to go, I don't want to work with him, I don't want to do anything of the sort with you...

"you know Leo, you look so sad but i can see something else in your eyes, like something that's been locked up and is trying to free itself, maybe i can free whatever it is you have locked up"

and now he speaks in a riddle?

"If its alright with you could we both work on the storyline and the art? i'm not really good at either, but i can write an okay storyline!"

"I can do all of it."

"But that's not fair on you, we should work together on it so that its equal effort and we both earn the grade!

"you should learn the secret rules of this school. you wouldn't be saying stuff like that, least of all to me."

"If the rules say i have to look down on someone then i'll look down on no-one, if i have to treat anyone like an object then I wont. Rules are meant to be broken!"

"for now the rules should be followed"

why am i arguing with him? it would be better for me if he took over the place at the bottom, but i've gotten so used to it that if it were someone else I don't think I would be able to handle it..

"then i'll make new rules and you can follow them with me!"

sounds like a fantasy... some far of future that I could be apart of yet avoid... why do I feel so hopeful when he says it? Why do I want to believe him?
