✎ Finchpaw was slightly inspired by myself! All my friends know me for having a crazy good intuition, so I thought I'd play with that for this story.
✎ Snakethroat does get caught for the murders shortly after murdering Finchpaw and Palescar
✎ The murders were to get rid of competition in order to become deputy, as in ThicketClan (where the story takes place) you basically get elected into the council, and from that pool of seven cats, one can be selected to become deputy when the current one passes away or becomes leader. So by killing all the more qualified / senior warriors in the council, the best one would be Snakethroat.
✎ This is actually a prequel to an oc story I've been working on for a while! In that, Snakethroat appears as a Dark Forest cat, so I thought I'd finally write down the backstory I've been thinking of.
