•Maddie's POV•
"Kalani, please come back and talk to them. Maybe we can sort something out," I plead Kalani. Kalani shakes her head and crosses her arms tightly over her chest. I sigh and do the same. "Face it, Maddie! I'm not good enough for them!" "You are!" Kamryn shoots back. Kalani replies with a long and depressing sigh. The familiar lady that gave out the scholarships came running up the hill to where my friends and I were gathered. "Kalani, we've though it over and," the lady began, breathless. Kalani unfolded her arms and let them swing by her sides. "We can offer you a place here." My jaw drops, just like everyone else's. Kalani squeals and jumps in her place.

•Kalani's POV•
I am so happy and excited right now! I get to attend college with my best friends and this time, it what I want to do (Emphasis on the I). My friends and I are moved onto campus that day and we begin lessons in a weeks' time. Everybody was over the moon for me! I thought I wasn't good enough, but apparently I scraped by. No more crystal tears for me. For us.
