The devil and I get along just fine

~•~•~

It has been a total of three days since I've officially moved into the Martinez Residence. I haven't seen or spoken to Leonardo or Tiffany since the day at the mall, not that I'm complaining. Kesha, Amanda, April and I have grown closer in the past few days. I haven't seen much or Wyatt but we occasionally talk and Liam still has yet to open up to me.

Other than that, nothing interesting has happened. I am in my bedroom most of the time, only coming out because I'm hungry or because Kesha threatened to kill me if I don't leave the room. That whole nice girl act she gave me was just a hoax. She's actually a little demon on the inside but then again aren't we all.

I still haven't gotten a call from Ronaldo confirming if he still wanted me to capture Aiden. I did some research on Aiden Morgan and I can't believe I didn't recognize the name before. Aiden is a well-known man in the mafia business. Mainly because he has some unsettled business with the head of the business, my father.

My father has been after him for years. I must say, the man is good. He was able to hide from my father for eight years and still be involved in the mafia business. I am still quite confused on how he was able to hide for so long. If my father wanted someone dead, they would of been dead a long time ago.

This man is playing with fire and people who play with fire get burnt. However he has been able to run from the flame and that made him twice as interesting. I couldn't help but think about what he could possibly done to have both my father and Ronaldo after him.

I heard the door creak open and I quickly slammed down my laptop. Leonardo tall figure appeared in the doorway. He looked at, raising an eyebrow but I ignored him.

"I have something to show you." he muttered before walking out the door, leaving no room to question his order. I slipped on my slippers before following him out the door. We walked in silence and I observed the various paintings and pictures that hung on the wall.

One picture in particular caught my eyes, causing me to stop. It was a picture of a brown haired boy who running away from a woman with the same brown hair and they both had wide smiles on their faces. The woman was beautiful. She wore a white dress with her hair tied in a messy one, stray hair falling in front of her face.

"My mom." Leonardo said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked closer at the picture and realized the boy was slightly similar to Leonardo. I never met his mom. Apparently she died when Leonardo was just twelve years old.

"She's beautiful." I said, looking at him from the corner of my eye. I noticed a small smile on his face as he watched the picture.

"Yeah, she was." he agreed before turning and walking away. I took one last glance at the picture before following him into an elevator.

He pressed the button 'DOWN' and the elevator started moving. We stood in an awkward silence, neither of us daring to say a word.

The elevator made a noise and the door opened, revealing a large room. In the room, there was a section covered with glass where there were guns of various shapes and sizes. I stared in awe as Leonardo opened the glass covering, giving me a closer look at the guns.

"Your father told me how much you loved shooting, so I thought I could give you access to our underground shooting range." he said with an emotionless expression. I opened my mouth, stumbling out a bunch of words that make no sense.

"A simple thank you would be fine." he chuckled.

"Thank you, this place is amazing." I thanked and he nodded.
