Chapter 3; Disappointed

"Kassim I don't think you should go today"his mum said entering his room.
He was wearing his sneakers.
"Why do you say that mum"he asks continuing to lace the sneakers.
"Well for starters it's about to rain and I don't really think you should do this.It doesn't matter whether you win or not you're my captain and I will still love you"
"Mum I have to do this and besides it won't rain, this is not the first time it has been like this ooh and I will also love you too"he interrupts his mum.
"I have to go mum" he stands up and hug his mum and walks out of the room.
"Well stay safe "his mum yells out.

He walked outside.
,The clouds like they were about to give birth but yet still there was traffic on the road. New Yorkers didn't care whether it was raining or snowing or even the apocalypse there will still be traffic on the road
He walked hurriedly to Ericah's  house. Her house was very huge. He pressed the door bell.
The gates opened and a man in his fifties walked out. He wore a suit that fitted perfectly and he looked like he hadn't slept for days.
"You must be kassim"he asked.
"Yes yes sir he said feeling uneasy.
"Don't  Call me sir ,You can call me Anders. Saying sir makes feel too old"he smiles
"Okay Sir sorry  sorry I mean Anders"he said still feeling uneasy
"Don't worry you will get the hang of it. Mrs.Amell is not yet ready so you can wait for her inside.
The house was very magnificent,they had flowers in the lawn which gave colour to the house. As he entered he was shocked by the interior decor. It was just amazing,from the stairs to the paintings on the wall it was just marvelous.It didn't take long for Ericah to come out.
"Will you be taking the chauffeur"Anders asked as she came to stand by Kassim.
"Oh no Anders don't worry we will walk"she told him.
The walk outside the house was in silent
When they were out of the house Kassim finally spoke.
"You didn't tell me you house was that nice"he asked her
"Oh that when you have a mum who is a interior designer,how do you expect your house to look like"she said.
"Well it is amazing "he said.
"Thanks she smiled. Are you ready? She asked him.
"Well I have been training for this so I guess I am"
Just  then the clouds gave a loud sound
as if it was annoyed at them.
"Well we will have to hurry up before it starts to rain. They start to walk faster ignoring conversations.
At the parking lot they could see JB's car.
As soon as they entered the school the rain started as if it was waiting for them to enter.
"Well thank God we made it "Ericah said heaving a huge sigh of relief .
The made their way to the court JB was already practicing. It was only him and the two mascots ;Ferdinand and Daniel but nobody really cared about them.They weren't inbtheir uniform.I guess they were also coming to witness the greatest duel in the history of Caster High.
"Took you long enough Kassim"he said angrily.
"Well am here now. where is the rest of the team he asked
"I don't think they are coming because of the rain so let's get this started already.
First person to make 20 points is the winner"JB said .
"Okay cool "he said.
"Good luck Ericah said hugging him.
She went to sit on the benches.
Then the game started.Kassim started great his two points was helping him and he was leading JB with two.
Then JB started with the three pointers then in a short while the scores became 18:18.it was left with only two points for either opponents to win.vKassim had the ball and he was about to shoot a three pointer when the lights went off. The whole place was dark He stood there looking perplexed
"Are you scared of the little darkness JB said taking the ball from his hands and shooting it,the ball hits the rim and falls down. Kassim heaved a huge sigh of relief as the ball didn't enter or it was the end of the road for him.
They stopped playing the basketball. They had forgotten it was raining heavily.
"It's a tide JB we will have to postpone the match another time" Ericah said getting up from the bench.
"Guys look Ferdinand said pointing at a source of light emanating from one of the classroom.
" Let's go check it out JB said
"Eerh who made you the boss" Ericah asked.
"Whatever well I'm going and you can choose to follow or not"
I don't think that's a good idea,this is basic movie 101.who knows what can be there..Aliens"Ferdinand tells them
"Why are you afraid Mr.scaredypants. oh right I forgot you're a nerd and these things only happen in that nerd brain of yours"  JB tells him.
"Thats enough JB " kassim  defends ferdinand.
Whatever loses and he walks  out of the court.
Kassim and Ericah also  followed
,The two mascots followed them
It was coming from the English class.
When they were about to get there the lights disappeared
Guys did you see that' Daniel asked .
When they entered there was nobody inside
Kassim goes to sit on the teachers chair whilst the others look around for only God's knows what.
"Guys what are we looking for exactly"Kassim asks opening one drawer after the other.
"Kassim quit opening drawers.,you can't be there.That is Mr.Allen's desk"Ericah says sitting  on one of the desks.
