Chapter Two

The twins are up there, I think Gary is the one on the left but I really don't know xD ↑

Dammit, come on! Open for the love of god! Chiron thought as he tried to open the locker again. But it wouldn't bug. He kept hitting the locker, hoping that it might open out of pure luck. Okay Chiron calm down, it's your first day. Don't lose control yet.Second period had already started but Chiron would not leave the locker before he had opened it. Chiron rested his head against the locker door. Even though he didn't want to go to this school he didn't want to make his parents disappointed, no matter how much they let him down when they said they'd move him to another school, in another country.

"So you want me out of here, huh?" Chiron sighed and looked at his parents.

"Of course not honey! But this boarding school has a great environment and the education there is great!" his mother said happily but Chiron could hear a slight shakiness in her voice.

"You're lying" Chiron said coldly

"I'm sorry?" his mother said confused.

"That's not the real reason you are sending me there, right? Tell me the truth" Chiron said.

"We can't, Chiron. We don't have the rights to tell you" his dad said.

"But you're my parents! Who else would be fit to tell me?!" Chiron exclaimed and stood up from the couch.

"Please calm down, Chiron. I beg you" his mother said and she rested her head between her hands. Chiron sighed and looked at his mother

"Fine I'll do it" Chiron said and walked up the stairs "But just because I agree, doesn't mean I'm happy about it" then he walked in to his room and closed the door behind him.

"Dammit!" Chiron shouted and punched the locker next to his and a buckle formed. He looked at the locker doors and on them he saw two shadows appearing. Chiron quickly turned around and saw two guys standing there. They had brown hair and broad foreheads, they were wearing shirts and leather jackets, they were identical twins and the only thing that made Chiron see the difference between the two were the color of their shirts.

"Need any help?" one of the twins said. He smiled at Chiron and discreetly looked at Chiron from top to toe.

"Yeah, my locker won't bug" Chiron said and sighed.

"No problem, I used to have this locker before you. There is a special way to open this you see" the same guy said. He stepped forward to help Chiron. Then he punched the locker on two different places around the lock and it opened.

"Wow, thanks a bunch!" Chiron said and smiled.

"No problem. By the way, I'm Gary and this is my brother Gale" Gary said and looked and his twin brother.

"So you're the new kid?" Gale asked and looked at Chiron.

"Yeah, that's me" Chiron said and sighed. He wondered how everyone suddenly knew that he was new. Probably because no one has ever seen him before, obviously.

"So what's your name?" Gary asked

"Chiron. Chiron Marlowe"

"Chiron? Like that centaur in the Greek mythology? You know that half human half horse guy that used bow and arrows?" Gale asked

"Yeah, I know it's pretty pathetic" Chiron sighed. Without noticing, the twins exchanged a look.

The school bell gave out an ear-piercing sound, signaling everyone that the class was over and it was time for lunch.

"Well then Chiron, we'll see you around. Tell me if you have any problem in the future with that locker" Gary said and smiled at Chiron

"I will, see you guys" Chiron replied.

The twins walked towards two girls who had just gotten out from their classroom. Both of the girls had light brown hair, however one of them had long hair down to her ribs and hazel eyes while the other girl's hair reached exactly over the ribs and she also had pale blue eyes. The blue eyed girl turned her head and looked straight at Chiron. She gave him a small flirting smirk and then walked away with the twins and the girl.

When Chiron arrived to the cafeteria, it was packed with people from all over the world. But one thing that Chiron especially noticed was the divisions between the students, like they were all in different groups. Chiron hadn't yet gotten to know which dorm he will belong too, the headmaster hadn't mentioned it and Chiron forgot to ask. As the new student in school he looked around the cafeteria, and then his eyes stopped at her. It was the beautiful girl from his history class. She was standing in the line for food as Chiron slowly approached her. To get her attention he cleared his throat and she turned her head and he met her dark brown eyes. She smiled gently at him.

"Can I help you?" she asked with an Australian accent.

"Oh, I'm Chiron, I'm in your history class" Chiron said and reached out his hand.

"Of course, you're new here aren't you? I'm Virgo" she said and shook his hand

"Virgo? Like the zodiac? That's interesting" Chiron asked her

"Well your name is pretty interesting as well, being named after a mythological creature" Virgo said and smirked. Chiron gave out a chuckle

"I guess"

After talking for a while, Chiron felt a big hand gripping his shoulder. His first thought was Percy but when Chiron turned around he saw a guy, a bit taller than himself. The guy was wearing a blue tight shirt having his muscles show through.

"So this is the new kid huh? Aren't you a bit too young to flirt with Virgo?" the guy said and smirked.

"I-I wasn't flirting with her!" Chiron stuttered. Who was this guy anyway?

"Toby cut it out, we were just talking" Virgo said to the guy and sighed. Chiron looked at the two students.

"Are you two dating...?" Chiron asked.

"No way!" Virgo exclaimed just when Chiron had finished his question.

"Ouch Virgo, right here" Toby said and clapped himself on his chest where his heart was.

"Oh please, you're basically dating that girl from--" Virgo started but was interrupted by Toby's hand that covered her mouth.

"Be quiet, she might here you" Toby whispered. He moved his hand from Virgo's mouth.

"Oh come on, we both know that she's as fast as a sloth with figuring out things"

"Yeah and she's still our dorm leader" Toby chuckled.

Chiron smiled at the two students. Maybe this won't turn out to be terrible after all.

Oh and just so you know Toby and Virgo are talking about two different girls, first it's the girl that Toby likes and then it's their leader that you will meet in the next chapter. Sorry for confusion ^^
