“So, we found a new Hydra base where they keep many high-technology weapons. We will have to find and get whoever is behind this, to Fury.” Steve explains. “So, me and Bucky and Wanda will go and find the accountable one. Tony you will explore and find anything you can. Y/n and Parker will open mine’s, Bucky’s and Wanda’s way in the base. Sam, you will keep an eye from above and inform us in the case of Hydra’s backup. Banner you will wait for code green and Vision you will wait for instructions to start the jet. All clear?” Steve explains. We all nod. “Good, we are landing now.” Steve says.

We get up from our seats, as the jet lands a little further from Hydra’s base. We get out of the jet. I reveal my wings and get ready to protect my two uncles and Wanda. “C’mon.” Steve says. Me and Peter run to the base, opening the way to Steve, Bucky and Wanda. I throw some energy balls to the soldiers and Peter webs their hands together, giving the opportunity to Steve’s team to get into the base. Soon after that, Tony has entered the base and the other Avengers are helping us with the soldiers. I throw as many energy balls to the soldiers, avoiding their shots. “Guys I need some help over -ugh- here.” I hear Nat in my earpiece. “Coming.” I tell her back and run over to her. She has been hitten by a high-tech gun. When I find her, she is on the ground. I fend off the soldiers with my powers and then help Nat get up. “Guys be careful, these guns are very harmful. Nat is hurt. I am taking her to the jet.” I say in my earpiece. “No y/n, you go and help with the guards. I will take Nat to the jet. I need a new set of arrows as well.” I hear Clint in my earpiece. “Coming Hawks.” I say in my earpiece and pick Nat up. I fly towards Clint. I hand Nat over to him and he takes her to the jet.

I throw green energy balls on soldiers again and try to keep an eye on the base, in case Steve comes, without informing. Then, I see a soldier aiming an enormous gun to Peter. We can’t afford to lose another Avenger. The soldier fires. Now, there is no use in taking down the soldier (that was my original plan). There is only one remaining solution. I fly towards the shot’s range and cover Peter with my body. The shot hit my wings, as I ‘protect’ Peter. I am thrown off at a tree. I hit it with great force. I let out a groan of pain. “Y/N!” I hear my father’s voice in my earpiece. That’s the last thing I hear before everything goes black.

Peter’s POV

I am too distracted and not realize that some soldiers behind me are aiming a very big gun at me. I sense it with my Spidey-sense, but before I can react, I see y/n jumping, uhh flying more precisely, in front of me and takes the shot instead of me. She just…saved me. She gets hit at her wings and is thrown at a tree. I hear her father in my earpiece yelling for her. I see mr. Rogers, mr. Barnes and Wanda exiting the building. They will take care of the soldiers, I must go and help y/n.

I run to her and realize she has slipped into unconsciousness. I pick her up {bridal style! EEEK!} and take her to the jet. “Everyone on the jet. Stark is bringing in the brain behind this base.” Steve says in the earpiece. “So, we retreat?” Clint asks in the earpiece. “Ehh…kind of.” Steve says in the earpiece. I have arrived to the jet. There, mr. Wilson is waiting for me. He takes y/n from me and give me a death stare. “Can I help you in any way mr. Wil-” I start saying but he cuts me off “You have already done enough.” He says and gets in the jet. I bow my head and get inside too.

I take my seat, with my head still bowed. “I am really sorry mr. Wilson. I didn’t mean for that to happen.” I apologize to mr. Wilson. “Your deep fake apology won’t fix this.” He replies and nods towards y/n. I bow my head even more. My apology isn’t fake. I am truly sorry that y/n sacrificed her well-being for me. Even though she doesn’t like me that much, she didn’t even think twice before saving me. A tear rolls down my cheek and I quickly wipe it away. Soon, mr. Stark returns and he is bringing in mr. criminal. I don’t even want to look at him. He is the main responsible for what happened to y/n.
