The door slammed as my mother stalked back inside with a frown on her face. What was she doing, you may ask? Well, from how she had bags and no passport, I assumed she was bolting off to no longer be a part of my family. I was already my own family just with a roommate who was my mother, basically. But I still couldn't believe it. "Right in front of my face you coward! Can't take care of me so you leave? Just like dad, eh, Kelly?" I yell. "I am your mother you will use those terms, Gianna." She spoke in a calm voice, clearly not thinking through she was about to leave her daughter. Alone. Scared. Homeless. The hell was she thinking?! "When you act like my mother, Kelly, I will call you as my mother." I argued back. "You shouldn't be surprised! You are a terrible child and you make it so hard to be a mother." She came back, only after realizing how terrible that sounded.

"Fine. Leave. Right now. But let me just tell you this, when you marry another man and he leaves you too, I won't be here waving at the doorstep with cash and a house for you. Bye." And this time I left. I stood in the backyard for almost three hours, and then went inside to formally pack up my things and leave.

I know there's probably a few things that I didn't do right here but I'm really enjoying writing this story!
