Hollywood, California
1995"Maybe we'll just keep fallin'!" Jack sang the last line of the song. It was Why Don't We's last rehearsal until they released Fallin' into the world. They had just come back from their 9 month hiatus and were coming out with their true selves in less than 24 hours. This new song was a completely different sound than any of their other songs in the four years they had been a band.
They gathered their guitars and headed out to the parking lot, exhausted from a long day of rehearsal.
"I'm starving," Zach whined as they exited the studio.
"Just wait like twenty minutes, we can stop at McDonalds or something," Jonah told him.
"But I'm hungry now!" he complained, crossing his arms and pouting like the two year-old he was.
"Yeah, I'm hungry too," Jack chimed in followed by two more "me too's" from Daniel and Corbyn.
Jonah sighed and gave in, "Fine! I bet we could find some street vendor or something."
The other four boys cheered in accomplishment as they had, for the trillionth time, convinced the oldest member into getting them something.
Zach, Jack, Corbyn, Daniel, and Jonah wandered the streets of LA looking for something to eat. About twenty minutes later—the amount of time it would've taken to get to McDonalds—they came across a small street dog vendor. They walked up to a guy who was grilling hotdogs next to the open hood of his car."Hey, could we get five hotdogs please?" Jonah asked the guy.
"Sure, kid," the guy said and placed five more on the grill. After the hotdogs were cooked, the boys walked over to the open hood of the car where the condiments were. Corbyn put some pickles on his hotdog, but some of the juice had dripped on the battery cables in the car.
"Umm, I got some pickle juice on your battery cables," he said to the guy at the grill.
"No worries, it'll help with the rust," the guy said.
"That can't...ok," he said skeptically and went to sit down with his bandmates.
"Eat up boys because tomorrow, everything changes," Jack said and held up his hotdog to cheers with the rest of the boys and dug in.
"You know Zach, if we end up dying because these condiments were in the hood of a car, you'll be dead twice," Daniel said, glaring at him.
"Chill man, street dogs haven't killed us yet," Zach said and they finished their hotdogs.
The boys started heading back to their cars so that they could finally go home.
"Woah, I think I ate too much," Daniel groaned as he clutched his stomach, which had started to hurt extremely.
"We all only ate one hot dog..." Jonah scolded before hunching over as a strange pain shot through his stomach. Soon enough, all five boys were kneeling on the ground clutching their stomachs in pain.
"I think we all ate too much," Jack managed to speak.
"Hey, is anyone else's vision getting spotty?" Zach asked and the other four all nodded.
