CUTE BEGINNING

I  just got off the plane and I  can't believe that I'm in New York City,the city of dreams. All the nights of wishing, praying and crying had all led up to this moment . I took a moment outside JFK to just breath in the cool breeze just as I realized I had a long road ahead of me.

I got to my cab and I didn't even know where I was heading, when I entered the cab ,a man who seemed really excited say hi and started driving.

"Where are you headed to ,young lady?"

"Ummmh, well the only I know is the Madison square garden " I said as fear slowly started creeping in.

The cab driver laughed thinking I was kidding but as he slowly looked at me he realized I was dead serious.

"Well that's where I'll drop you off then but you better look for a place to spend the night,hotels are a lot , okay?"

I agreed and hoped that I'd get through the day without completely losing it,I don't know what I was thinking following my dreams literally,I didn't think it through as most decisions I make but I was determined to succeed,I was determined to be the next big star.

New York traffic was amazingly terrible since it was the first time I ever experienced it but we got to the garden in no time. The cab driver could feel my anxiety so as I got off he gave me a map and told me to go explore and stay safe and just like that I was like a small bird who had just learnt how to fly and was ready to take on the world.

I walked a bit in around the streets, grabbed something to eat and window shopped ,I could believe I was in the Big Apple.

I wore a high waisted denim shorts, a dark spaghetti strap t shirt and I red clip I had forever in my hair,I was definitely feeling the NY vibes,I walked gently as not to show that I was New to the city with a stune yet friendly face something caught my eye through the traffic it was a yellow cab but inside was the most handsome man I'd ever laid my eyes on ,and I know I couldn't see him properly because he was all the way on the other side of the road but meeehn.

His eyes just had this light that seemed to be so bright I didn't see anything else and then there's this thing he did with his hair that just made me go nuts,I was starstruck

Just as I was about to stop drooling and concentrate,he looked at me and our eyes met ,I felt like the whole world stood still,I smiled and he smiled back

I knew it was all a fairy tale in my head since he was so far away and to be real he'd never go for a girl like me so I brushed it off and walked on my way.
