"Take deep breaths" Natalie says steadying the pregnant lady, the baby kicked hard while being in the ultrasound, so it kind of was a huge pain to the pregnant lady, "Y/n, trust me, you'll be fine" Natalie rest assured her, but really, that did not help at all, "I got it, just please do the ultrasound" Y/n says laying down, Natalie looks at her trying to make sure, "I'm sure, I'm positively sure" Y/n says. Natalie make sure and sighs knowing Y/n will make her anyway, she starts doing a ultrasound, Y/n kind of liked the cold feeling, because it was just cool.

After finishing, Natalie gets some towels and starts wiping the gel off of Y/n's stomach, "the gender is..."

(Yeah, I'm not gonna tell you the gender, hehe)

Y/n was so happy seeing the pictures of her little baby, she was so happy, she even now knew her baby, she was so thankful, for just her fiancé, her family, her life, everything, it was perfect now, her sister Hailey, who apparently was her fiancé's ex, her beautiful Hailey, then it's Jay Halstead, her fiancé, Jay was an amazing guy, he was probably too overprotective, he loved to protect her, in the same time, she didn't like it much because last time she talked to Kevin, Adam, some collogues, probably 5 months ago or something, he didn't like it, and honestly, they had a huge fight about it, but Y/n said that if she doesn't talk to other people and communicate, she'll be an introvert, and she wants to be an extrovert, she has been one since she was probably born, her mom even told her was that when she was born, the nurses and doctors said that she would an extrovert, and Y/n definitely agreed on it herself, she told Jay, and told him like a boss.

She starts driving back to her apartment, she was getting her keys and starts going to the elevator to go to her room, she presses her button and the elevator was going to her apartment floor, she was walking to her apartment room, she gets her keys and went into the key hole, she putted it inside the key hold, she goes inside the apartment and took a deep breath, she went to her closet and looked through her cloths, she was looking through seeing some cloths that might fit her and some that might not fit, she was hoping to have some cloths though, but she had to at least have some, she's wishing, that's all she's hoping.

Looking through, there was almost like nothing, which wasn't good, but... she did have Jay's shirts, and those are huge on her, mostly the long sleeved ones, those are like sweaters to her for some reason, but that's the best thinking right now. Y/n was waiting for Jay to come home because of his shift and everything, she was planning on giving this as his present, which was in like two days, so that'll be perfect. She was excited though, revealing would be cool for Jay, because he honestly deserves it so much, knowing on how much he worked for her in these past few months, Y/n had to take a break from her job because being pregnant is apparently a trigger to patients cause they don't trust those type of doctors sadly, of course her friends tried to help her by taking her shifts, but she refused saying that having their company was good enough. Though Jay started working more hours to earn more money, so Y/n was very thankful.

She was right now wrapping the presents that she herself bought for Jay, it was honestly going to be amazing. Putting it at places he would usually be at, the master bedroom, the toilet, the closet, the kitchen, the living room, there were a lot of good places to hide these, and she also hid security cameras to watch when to come back home and surprise Jay. After taking so long in finishing, she was going to go to one of these close nearby markets.

Jay's POV

I just finished my long working shift, but I honestly wanted to go home, rest, cuddle with my girlfriend Y/n, yeah I know it sounds cringe, but I miss her, I usually get to say goodbye to her like at 6 a.m. and she hates waking up early so it was just not her mood type, but then I would literally come home like at 10 and I see her asleep, yeah sometimes my stubborn side makes me jealous a little bit, but in the same time, she's carrying a baby inside her own stomach, and she's sacrificing her time not working and rather staying home taking care of the little one, her main profession was being a doctor and she really succeeded well, but now staying home wasn't her go-to but it was something.

Walking inside, I see a note on the handle inside the apartment, unfolding it, I started to read what it says.

•The quest has started! Your first clue and prize will be somewhere we used to go, somewhere that made us fight most of the time... hehe, hope you remember, there are more to go•

I was now thinking, this is definitely from Y/n, so I had to think smart, where would we usually fight, it's somewhere that made us got together, our conflicts and fightings brought us together so I'm very thankful for that, so I got an idea.

Running to this river lake they had close to our apartment, I see a lantern hanging on a tree branch with a little bag inside. Going to it, I look what's inside and instantly smiled, it was a photo I took with Y/n, it was our one month anniversary, I then totally forgot that it was May, it's our anniversary month! I can't believe I almost forgot about that, looking inside, I saw a sticky note on the side, it then said.

•My first time seeing you was definitely a feisty one, go to the place where you usually calm me down•

A place I brought her to that calmed her down...? The ice cream shop! Of course how could I forget that, the ice cream man had mad skills over the flavor because of love and looks, it was like the future lover ice cream, it would always be her favorite place cause it made her walk down the lake while eating her ice cream, which was apparently, her favorite thing to do.

Going to the ice cream place, I looked at the time, it was already 11:34 and he was there, it looks like he was waiting for me, rushing to him, I smiled, "here you go Jay, Y/n told me to give this to you" he says, he then turned his ice cream machine place off, his French accent always got me for some whole reason. I look at it and it was another bag, looking inside, it was a cd.

•There's so many more memories I wanted to give and show you, but you're probably tired from work, this is something I hope you remember, go to our old theater room•

Y/n walks to the old theater room, Jay and her used to get out of the house, parties, and made this little theater room at their basement, they had the monitor and computer, they bought a popcorn machine and a pantry of snacks, looking inside, there was a laptop there and a folded piece of paper that says PRESS PLAY and Y/n did as told, she pressed play and that was when all the memories, photos, anniversaries, gifts, holidays, they were all in a small slide show, Y/n tears up looking at the video, she sees a bag right next to the projector, she goes and looks in through the bag, she saw a small designed box and opened it, the bracelet he gave her for their 1st anniversary, she was shook because she didn't remember taking it off, looking at her wrist, she didn't even know it was off, she then saw another note.

Y/n looks around and saw these weird ivy's hanging around for no reason, she goes through them and candles were kitten, making a pathway, she looks and saw Jay, who was standing there smiling at her, she saw that he had something on his hand, she goes to him, "Jay, what's going on?" Y/n asked, "Y/n, we always talked about starting a family together... and I truly want to, remember a few weeks ago you were sick?" Jay asked, Y/n remembered clearly, she was so sick she honestly felt like she could die, "well, I got this stick, while you peed, apparently you forgot to flush, so I used the stick and..."

"We're pregnant"

After what Jay said, Y/n starts balling her eyes in happiness, she's going to be a mom and the person she loves most is going to be the father of her child, "thank you Jay, thank you" she kisses his lips and he smiled insanely.
