Amidst the faint susurration of students strolling in the wide corridors, a vivid voice outreached me. "Oh, the burden I feel upon my shoulders!"

"What?" I queried, though every nerve held back a deep suspire at the young girl's dramatic tone.

"Not a fan of all the pressure I get here for delving in my books 24x7; are you?" She considered explicating the former Shakespearean incentivized statement of her.

"Nobody here is; but we're all trying to get through, right?" I said defining the unsaid laws implied to the individuals of this university, and assuredly, including other institutions as well.

"Yeah well, all I'm proposing is to..."

"No, you're not doing anything," I denied the words before they even had an opportunity to be born yet; well savvied with her diablerie.

"Pretty please, let's just skip the next class and be free for today," and there she unfolded her seconds-forged scheme.

"Chase, it's literally the last class," I thoroughly meant to attend it and be done for Friday.

"And that's exactly why we'll skip it."

"No, we're not. Get your hopes down woman and get into that class," My index pointed down the hall as the rational affirmative had been put forth with no further arguments.

"Okay, we won't," A sigh wouldn't have made the situation complete, "but can we at least head for someplace nice after that?" The tall, chestnut-haired girl had been my best friend for quite a few years then. Isabelle Chase was her full name and for the nonce, she could be a tad of the typical damsel in distress sometimes. Henceforth, being her friend promised me prudent responsibilities. "And you really need to let loose a bit sometimes, Rhyna."

Passing her a smile, I endorsed to her will, "Fine, we'll go out somewhere after this."

Mr. Heather's class imbibed the perfect peace out of his terror among the seated personas. I roughly had been seated in the center of my only pals at Yonsei University – Taehyung, Jungkook, and, of course, Isabelle.

Born in the lands of The States, I left my half-L.A. portion back in South California after my family and I shifted to Seoul when I was around fourteen. The simpleton boys, Jungkook and Taehyung proffered a hand of friendship to me the time I was there to pay a visit to my grandma in South Korea. It was my father who decided to settle back in his native land.

We went to the same high school, and as for higher education, we were at the same university as well. Taking a riotous account of our close friendship, even Isabelle teases us three tying knots with the same guy too, someday.
