"I swear to god Hoseok! If it's one of your annoying colleagues..."
"It's Namjoon, not my colleagues."
That one name, reverberating through my auditory, extracted my heated-up condition. Sedated breeze, blowing over my face, could now be felt with atypical sensations beneath my chest, "Nam-Namjoon?" I was either sucked out of my emotions or graved them even deeper.
"Yes him."
"I just made dinner for two but I'll see if I can manage something."
Hoseok bolted towards me, placing a peck over my cheek, "I know you wouldn't disappoint me. I owe you this one," He promptly returned to his room to get dressed.
The thud of his door left a trail of silence, manifesting serenity in the used-to-be spry place. My limbs, schlepping me where the kitchen sited but my mind renegading; wandered off to somewhere my physical existence didn't pry. Kim Namjoon, the one I've been seeing since childhood, was going to be with us in the next fifteen minutes, after three years.s
These three years weren't the best time of my life but so did the few years before them; they weren't any better, even worse.
Playing with my friends at a park nearby, having the moment of childhood. I was on a vacation with mum, dad, and Hoseok in Seoul, and one of the most appealing impressions.
"Aaaa!" I fell on my knees, scrapping it in the process. An atrocious stung, twigging ever so often as I sought to get on my feet but failed. I found blood oozing from the wound I received and being a child of six, I tore up at this.
"What happened to you, Rhyna?" I perceived a boy's brunette luscious hair through my squelched eyes as he crouched to my level, "Why are you crying?"
"I... got... I," I sobbed, not able to explain myself.
"You hurt your knee, I see," I wiped off the dripping tears but it only paved the way for running down the fresh ones and I was a mess, "Let's get you treated... okay?" I nodded and the next I was in his arms as he carried me. Without a second passing by, I threw my arms around his neck, and buried my face into the space of his shoulder, spurring on to burst yet again.
He couldn't help his cackle at my actions, "It's okay. You'll be absolutely fine."
He brought me to his home and carefully placed me on his living room couch. Asking me to stay there, he receded from my view, and my optic resolved to screen the surrounding shelves, ornamental decor, and flaxen drapes, all contributing to a summer vibe. I would be there with Hoseok that evening but the occurrence already got me there.
