We finished registration or rather Yaya Zaid and dad finished it.We are at the hostel gate checking in with the matron.we said our salaams and our parents left us.It took us great effort not to shed tears.I hugged Umma and tell her How much I am going to miss her,Billy and zahrah did the same to their family.After seeing them off we headed to our room to arrange our things.
"Oya guys let's do division of labour "Billy says.
"alright I'll clean the toilet,zahrah should sweep and mop the room while Billy will arrange our clothes in the wardrobe. "I said excitedly.
"Great good idea"echoed Billy and Zahrah.After alot of hard work for an hour we finished every thing and the room become conducive for human habitation.I smiled satisfactorily and plopped down on my bed thinking about ummah and wondering whether she is missing me too.I picked my phone and dial her number ,she picked up"Assalamu Alaikum my daughter ,already missing me huh?but am not missing you."she teased.
"Yeah mum, I feel like flying back home I missed you"I answered her back with so much emotion.Then Billy called out to us that we should go to the room next door so that we will get acquinted with the girls .
Am not the kind of person that love strangers likewise Zahrah but Billy was adamant and we have no choice.We knock the door saying our salaam and a pretty girl of our age answered it,she ushered us in and entertained us with drinks and snacks. She introduced herself as Naeela and her other roommates as Yasmeen and Aliyah .I don't know what got into me but I took an instant liking to Naeela.Maybe it's because she is so nice and warm.we also learned that she is a law student including her roommates.We talked about random things and went back to our room.
Later in the day towards evening, we decided to go sight seeing and we spotted a very quite and nice place with trees all over it and everywhere is green.
"I love nature and this place makes me very happy .Girls we have found out our hangout spot and we will be studying and discussing here .What do you think?"I asked them with dreamy eyes.
"Yep!you are right sid.maybe Naeela should tag along too."Billy says excitedly
"Yeah this is cool.I love this place too and I agree with Billy .Naeela seems to be a nice girl"Zahrah chirped in .
"Alright girls.let's head back to the hostel and find something to eat"I said happily holding their hands as we always do.
We had dinner and planned for the next day which we will be attending our first lecture.I feel nervous and excited.I prayed that all will be well and nothing bad will happen till we finish our studies.
Yeah !They've got a new friend Naeela. please do let me know what you guys think about her .
