"Hey! Are you listening?!" Hailey's voice cut Jake's thoughts off. "Huh? Sorry what?" He asked. Hailey sighed. "I said, did you do the essay?"

They were currently trying to study in the College library. "Um...yeah...heh..." Which was technically a lie since he only got a paragraph done. "Lemme see." Hailey seized his laptop and frowned. "Jake! This will NOT earn you an A!"

"Sorry sorry." Jake laughed. Hailey looked away. "You were thinking about him weren't you?"

"I-um...haha whaaat? No! That's cra-"

"You don't have to lie." Hailey interrupted. "Just know that I'm here for you. So is everyone else." She said. Jake smiled and nodded. "AWE! I LOVE THIS SHIP!" Milly popped into the library. Jake's and Hailey's faces burst into flames. "I-it's not like that!" They both shouted. The librarian glared at them. "Haha okay! Sorry I was late though." She took a seat across from Hailey. "Help me. I haven't gotten a single letter on this doc." Milly said. "I'll help." Jake volunteered. "No thanks. I don't trust you enough. And besides, don't you have your own essay to work on?" Milly teased. "Alright you too!" Hailey laughed. "Hey Mills. Need help on that essay? I already turned mine in." Elliot said, popping up behind Milly. "S-s-sure!" Milly blushed, gathered her things and followed Elliot. "She's adorable when he's around." Hailey said. "Yep."

"Sup Losers." Zoey said, wrinkling her nose at a speck of dust on her notebook. Unfortunately, Zoey has enrolled in the same university. "What do you want?" Jake sighed. "Nothing. Lia dragged me here." Zoey scoffed. "Hey Jake." Lia said. "Ugh. Go flirt with him some other time." Zoey snorted, walking out. "Hey, wait up Zoey!" Lia waved at Jake before running after her. "She annoys me." Hailey mumbled. "Hah. You're just jealous." Jake nudged her. "J-just do your essay!" Hailey ordered, flushing pink. "Yes ma'am. Buuuut my mind is blank." He said. Hailey sighed as she began helping him.

"Jeez sorry Hailey." Zander grumbled. "But Luke said he didn't get to have lunch so we got him lunch." He said. "Just...come next time okay?" Hailey was lecturing Zander and Luke for not coming to the study group. "And you. What is your excuse?" She asked Sean. "MY BROOM BROKE." Sean sniffed. "Your broom." Jake laughed. "Yes!" Sean bawled. "Okay then...Come on time next time." Hailey said. She looked out the window as Milly joined the group. Hailey took a deep breath and said, "So...about the music plan..."
