Level Up!

Chapter 5

Eren was the first to wake up and he looked over and saw y/n still sleeping with her hair down covering her face. y/n was sleeping on her stomach with her arms under the pillow. Eren moves her hair away from her face and gently gives her a quick kiss on her forehead and removes his hand from her hair and runs it up and down her back gently. y/n opens her eyes slowly to see Eren smiling at her with his hair up in a messy bun.

"Mmm...morning Eren"

"Morning princess, how did you sleep?"

"Honestly Eren this was what I needed in a long time, I've had the most peaceful sleep I've had in a long time."

y/n smiled still slowly waking up and just moves her hair out of the way and lays her head back onto the pillow and looks at him with a smile. Eren lays his head back on the pillow and pulls y/n closer and rubs her back. She catches a big whiff of Eren's scent and relaxes more into his arms, y/n removes her arms from under the covers and places one of her hands on Eren's face and the other one under his pillow so she could hold his other hand. Eren leans down and gives her a soft kiss with a smile.

"Hmm, I love you y/n"

" I love you too Eren. Do you have any plans today? If not I was kinda hoping to stay here with you, I don't want to go anywhere."

"Babygirl If you don't want to go anywhere today we don't have to go anywhere we can stay here all day if you want to."

y/n smiles and nods her head snuggling her head into his chest while rubbing her thumb gently against his cheek. Eren grabs her hand gently that was in his face and brings it close to his lips and gently kisses it and places her hand back on his cheek keeping his hand there. He smiles back at y/n and holds her close.

"Baby I don't know about you but I am hungry."

"Yeah honestly I could go for some food right about now but I don't wanna get up and search through your fridge."

"haha you don't have to honey I will cook for you I can make a really good breakfast and the best homemade pancakes and luckily I just bought strawberries to put on top of them."

"...You had me at strawberries Eren I love strawberries! But if you cook then who's gonna keep me warm in bed"

y/n pouts looking at Eren. He chuckles looking at y/n and kisses her head and slips out of bed heading towards the kitchen to start making breakfast. y/n soon later comes out and sits at the tiki bar and watches Eren make pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. Her belly starts grumbling and looks at Eren and groans.

"aww, baby are you hungry? don't worry your boyfriend here is making you a delicious breakfast."

"Erennnn I can smell the food from here and it's making me even more hungry it already looks so good." 

y/n gets up from her seat and wraps her arms around Eren's waist and looks over watching him make pancakes. She eyeballs the pan and sees the fluffy cream-colored food being cooked in that pan. While Eren was fixated on the pancake pan y/n quietly reaches over and grabs a strawberry and starts to eat it.

"hey, those are for the pancakes hah."

"But, Eren I wanted one"

y/n pouts while still nibbling on the strawberry. Eren grabs her hand gently that is holding the strawberry and takes a small bite from it and smiles and continues to cook. About 5 minutes breakfast was finished and was devoured by Eren and y/n.

"Eren that was delicious I cannot believe it with my own tongue."

"I told you-"

"Hey Hey Hey Eren wakey it is I your friend Connie here with-"

Both y/n and Eren look at Connie who was standing by the door with a bag of Mcdonald's.  y/n giggles and continues to eat her breakfast with Eren while Connie stares in distraught that his friend was eating breakfast with a girl.

"Eren I am hurt you never cook for me, your roommate but you cook for y/n ugh! I feel betrayed."

"Well, I cooked for y/n because she's my girlfriend, Of course, I am going to cook for her."

"Huh, wait what? Really! Finally, you two have gotten together did you guys, you know...do it?"

y/n blushes almost spitting out her food and look at her who is laughing very hard while shaking his head no. Connie shrugs it off and joins the two of them for breakfast.

"well, y/n I guess I will be seeing you around here more often."

"Yeah, I will be around here more often but I'll probably be in Eren's room working or gaming or most likely sleeping in his bed. And just to point it out Connie we are taking our relationship slow."

Eren nods in agreement while taking a drink of his milk.

"Y/n explained to me last night that her roommate is loud and obnoxious and rarely lets her sleep since she is up all night fucking some guy and that upsets me because I can see it in her eyes that she is exhausted and I just want her to have a place to sleep and work peacefully."

Connie nods in agreement allowing that since he is also the roommate of Eren. They continue to eat their breakfast in peace and after they eat y/n helps wash the dishes and goes back into Eren's room and lays back down curling up in Eren's spot and starts to fall asleep.

"Baby that's my spot but, I'll let it slide since you look tired.."

Eren lays in y/n spot and holds her tightly falling asleep right next to her under the covers.
