After we returned from Laugh Tale, Red-taro pressed Roger and Max with questions. Afterwards I saw him crying.
At the birth of the Pirate King, The whole world stirred. The marines began to love in mass.
Rayleigh was reading the newspaper, while the others were on the deck as well.
Rayleigh : The man who achieved everything ; wealth, fame and power. The Pirate King, Gold Roger!!
Roger : It's Gol D. Roger!! I like the sound of Pirate King, though!
Rayleigh : They're talking about you too, Max.
Max : Of course they would!
The world have everything Roger had accumulated over his travels a collective name. The called it the One Piece.
Max walks up to the railing.
Max : The whole world knows my name. I hope you're seeing this, sister.
Oden : Max, why don't you come to Wano someday?! You've given up piracy, right?
Max : Wano, huh? I will, Oden. But before that, I need to meet up with someone. 'Til then, Make sure you brew me some sake!
Oden : You bet! Gyahahaha!!
I'm still astonished on how this young man named Portgas D. Max became such a big name at his age.
Later that night.
Roger had gathered everyone on the deck. He wanted to announce something.
Roger : Looking back at it, I realize it was all a miracle. We decided long ago that we'd die! And look how far we've come! I cannot thank y'all enough!
Gaban : Wait wait wait! What are you saying! Take that back, damn it, captain!
Sambell : Yer makin' me blush, ya bastard!
The Fishmen says.
Roger : Alright, I guess I'll just say it outright!
Roger Pirates : Yeah, we're ready!
Roger : The Roger Pirates are hereby disbanded!!!
Roger Pirates : HUHHH?!!!
Suddenly, Roger, Max and Oden hear some voices.
"They will be born soon!"
"Our ruler will be born."
"But they may be born in a far away sea."
"The whales eagerly await the day these two rulers will meet again."
"We too, have waited for so long."
"Finally, the day is close. This time certainly, it shall all go too well."
"Ten before they're born. And another ten to five for them to come of age."
Max : That voice spoke the truth. Someone will be born. And they'll surpass us!!
Rayleigh : I hear they call it the One Piece. Who do you think will find it?
Roger : My son, of course...
Rayleigh : You don't have one...
Roger : I'm going to have one! That's what I'm trying to say!
Soon, all of them started to party for the last time as crew.
Roger throws a hand over Max's shoulder.
Roger : Yosh! Drink up! And head for waters without any Marines!! I'm gettin' off first with Max! Drop Oden off afterwards!!
Max : THIS ONE IS FOR OUR SUCCESSFUL ALLIANCE!!!
Everyone raises their jug of booze.
Everyone : KANPAIII!!!
After taking his longest serving crewmate Rayleigh - The man known as the Dark King- aside for a few words. Roger left his ship along with Max.
He took him a stockpile of medicine from his ship Doctor. Crocus. Even though his illness had already reached its terminal phase.
We bid them a man's farewell. None of us cried. For the crew of the Pirate King and the Lone Wolf's comerades would never cry.
The whole crew bid them a tearful farewell. And thus ended the Pirate Journey of the Lone Wolf as well as the Roger Pirates.
Time skip
Third Person's POV
And so about a year past. We're now 24 years before the present day.
It was a normal day at the Red Port.
However, everybody's eyes were stuck on the headline of the newspaper.
Citizen 1 : He's executed, huh?!
Citizen 2 : But now, all the pirates are motivated to find that "One Piece"!! He still caused troubled at the end!
On that day, the pirates around the world were shocked and excited to see the news. It was the news of, Pirate King, Gol D. Roger being successfully executed in Louge town of East Blue.
In an alleyway, two people were reading the news. They were both wearing cloaks to hide their identities.
Max : So you're gone.... What a life you lived, Roger.
He says, as tears fall down from his eyes.
??? : How long are you gonna cry?
A femine voice says.
Max : Shut up.... Uuh.... What was your name again?
??? : Huh?! You!! You're working for my brother don't forget that! And that makes me your senior!!
Max : Just because you're Dragon's sister doesn't mean that I'll respect you. Plus, I'm not working for him, I'm working with him.
??? : Whatever!!
Emily : And the name is Monkey D. Emily! Don't you dare forget that!!
Max : Oh, right. What the hell are you wearing under that cloak.
Emily : It's called a hoodie!!!
