Tonight was the first of many games as an Eden Hall Warrior. And to be completely honest, I'm a little nervous. I've been tossing and turning all night, not being able to fall asleep. And when I finally did, my annoying ass alarm decided to go off.

Dragging myself out my bed, taking out the outfit I picked during my sleepless night. Which is a white collared shirt and over the top of it is a off white with a spaced out grey and black plaid design. Slipping on some black flair pants

Adding mascara to my outfit, I hear my dorm door open. Clipping on my pearl necklace I got from my Grandmother eight years ago.

"Yo little sis! You ready for your first game?", Vincent yells. Peeking my head through the door, I see Cole hyping Vin up while Rick and Axel go through my sunglasses collection. Scooter and Adam having a simple conversation by my door. 

"Heck yeah. Wait, do you know who we play tonight?", I walk over and greet Adam by a kiss on a check. Turning back to Rick who was beginning to talk, Adam wraps his arm around my neck.

"The Blake Bears, easy win. Destroyed them by 8 last year.", Rick brags, fixing the pair of sunglasses on his face, "Oh and we are meeting to watch the JV team at 4 pm.".

"Wow, look at little Ricky being all supportive. So proud!", I tease.

"No, just want to see them lose to one of the worst teams in our section. I'm sure it will be hilarious.", Rick smirks, "Let's get going before we are late to breakfast."

The whole entire varsity team plus the cheerleaders enter the arena and begin to walk straight to their reserved section. Which was kind of difficult since the whole place was packed full of duck fans and students.

As we walk towards the bleachers, Cole speaks up, "Why in the hell are so many people here? This is a JV game for crying out loud."

"I know its hard for you to understand but the ducks went to the Olympics, so o-", I was interrupted by Rick.

"Junior Olympics!"

"Yes, my bad. The ducks went to the Junior Olympics.", I raise my voice when I say Junior, "And won gold, so of course they are gonna have a little attention. And maybe even, okay hear me out on this one, have some fans.

Finally taking our seats, I quickly use Nina's legs as my back rests, I hear Josh's voice ring around the arena, "The once Mighty Ducks, I mean, rather, the, um, Eden Hall Warriors do battle with the Blake freshman bears."

The ducks turned Warriors skate out onto the ice causing most people in the arena to stand up, clapping for them. Everyone except for the Varsity team obviously, although Adam and I clap lightly seeing our friends on the ice. I clap extra loud seeing Julie skate out onto the ice, but not before noticing Scooter eyes perk up in interest noticing her.  

My stomach turns, knowing that the Ducks better win or their scholarships can be pulled, no matter the contract. As if Adam is feeling the same way, he gently squeezes my thigh. slightly calming me.

The ducks begin to quack making the senior boys and girls laugh as they get lectured by Orion.

"Point of fact, Charlie Conway is not wearing the traditional captain "C". He's been this teams captain since they played for district five. I guess Coach Orion's making a statement.", Josh informs the arena and radio listeners.
