It Gets Harder

The work day was just finishing up for Haida. He was minutes away from leaving the offices and finally going home. Haida had Inui on his mind for the entire day, wanting to just see her. "Can the clock just hit 6 already, all I want is just to see Inui", Haida thought to himself. The the work day had the finished and everyone began leaving their departments. As Haida got up from his seat, Fenneko approached him. "Hey dude, just checking up on you". Haida smiled, "aw thanks... you getting ready to head home"? Fenneko nodded, "yep I just wanted to see how you were doing before I leave". "You wanna walk with me to the lobby", asked Haida. Fenneko nodded, "sure, but I gotta ask you something". Haida began walking with Fenneko, "go on... Ask away". Fenneko took some time, "uhhhhhh... Well I just wanted to know... W-was the kid... Your's"? Haida looked at Fenneko in confusion, "what do you mean"? Fenneko grinned, "well the kid... When Inui was pregnant, was the kid your's". Haida stopped at his tracks, "what the hell are you trying to say? What... You think that it wasn't my sperm that mad it into Inui". Fenneko began sweating, "um... I mean kinda yeah, but". Haida cut off Fenneko, "I really don't want to hear it right now Fenneko". Fenneko looked down, "Haida, i-i-im-im very sorry, maybe I shouldn't have brought it up". Haida sighed, "forget about it... I think it's best if I walk alone". "I understand", said Fenneko. Haida then walked away from Fenneko towards the lobby.

At the lobby Haida took a quick seat to calm down. He began shaking as he took his phone out. Haida tried his hardest, trying to stop freaking out. "What the fuck have I done", Haida said to himself. Haida put his face into his hands, "I'm such a fucking dumbass, I made Inui's life more miserable than it has to be". Haida began crying into his hands. After a few seconds, Haida felt someone's hand on his shoulder. He turned around to see that it was Gori. "Haida, are you doing alright", said Gori. Haida quickly wiped the tears off his face, "ye-yeah i'm okay, nothing wrong here". Gori sat down with Haida, "there's clearly nothing right with you right now. Please tell me what's wrong". Haida nodded, "okay... So to keep it simple, Inui's getting an abortion". Gori gasped, "a-ar-are you for real Haida"? Haida slowly nodded, "yeah and I just keep blaming myself for it". "Oh Haida, no don't blame yourself it isn't your fault", said Gori. "But I'm the idiot why she is getting one", said Haida. Gori stood up from the chair, "just know Haida... You're not an idiot or a mess up. You're a great guy, and an incredible husband towards Inui. Don't let something you can't control get over you".

Haida got up from the chair looking down, "thanks a lot Gori, but I can't tell myself that". Haida then began walking away before Gori could say another word. Once outside Haida took out his phone and called Inui. After a few rings, Inui picked up, "hello"? "Hey... Inui, just wanted to let you know I'm heading home", said Haida. Inui smiled, "that's great, can't wait till you get here". "How are you doing with your... Thing", asked Haida. Inui took a little pause, "it's been pretty bad today, like my worse day yet". Haida hung up the phone after Inui said that. He put his phone away and began walking towards the train station. Haida then made it to the train station and got on a train. Over with Inui she was confused, "hello... Hello... Haida you there"? She then sat her phone down and went towards the couch. She laid down on the couch and began to slowly tear up. After trying her hardest to hold in the tears, she bursted out crying. She covered her face with her hands, "does Haida even love me anymore, I'm such a screw up all the time. I don't deserve him and I deserve this pain that I'm in right now. Maybe those two girls were right about me, I'm just a slut".  Inui then turned over and cried into a pillow until Haida came home.

After a few minutes Haida opened the front door. He looked over at the couch to see Inui laying down, sleeping. He slowly made his way towards Inui and kneeled down next to her. He put his hand on Inui's back, rubbing it. Inui began slowly waking up and glanced at Haida. "Oh... Haida.... It's you... When did u get back". Haida was about to say something, but noticed the look on Inui's face. "Yeah I just got here, but you look like trash Inui". Inui sat up, "wh-wha-what do you mean by that"? Haida took Inui's hand, "I mean that you look rough, and exhausted. W-wait a minute... Have you been... C-crying"? Inui squeezed Haida's hand, "I-I mean yeah, but... I was crying for a pretty good reason". "What do you mean a good reason", asked Haida. Inui took a quick silence, "I'm just such a nobody and I don't deserve you. I feel like what those girls said about me a while ago is true". Haida stood there in shock, "I-Inui... Oh no Inui, you're not... You are the best woman I know and the love of my life. I also need you in my life because, I'm nothing without you". Inui stood up from the couch and gave Haida a hug, "I'm s-s-sorry Haida, I really didn't know that I mattered that much to you. I mean I know you love me, but I'm so miserable all the time without you".
Haida kissed Inui the on forehead, "I love you so much Inui and I hope you'll have a better mindset sooner or later". Inui kissed Haida back, "I love you too Haida... Hey are you hungry, want me to make you some dinner". Haida thought for a moment, "umm... Yeah sure, that'll be nice of you to do. I'm pretty hungry too, since I haven't eaten since breakfast".

Inui sighed, "Haida what did I tell you about not eating enough throughout the day". Haida sat down at the dining table, "I'm sorry, I had a bit of a rough day today... Rather not talk about it". Inui looked down, "alrighty then, fair enough". Haida noticed Inui's mood, "you know what... I don't wanna eat anything right now. Forget about making me something to eat inui. Haida them got up from the chair and headed towards the bedroom, "cmon let's just head to bed now". Inui stood there with her mouth open and didn't say anything. She then brushed it off and followed Haida into the bedroom. She saw Haida already laying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Haida saw Inui at the entrance of the room, "cmon Inui, lay down with me". Inui smiled and laid right next to Haida and cuddled up to him. Inui then kissed Haida on the cheek. "How are you doing with your... abortion", asked Haida. Inui felt her abdomen, "it still hurts a lot here, still bleeding, and every now and then I'll vomit. Just the normal abortion side affects, but I hope this will be over soon". "Should I get a vasectomy", asked Haida. Inui looked up at Haida and stared at him, "oh um... I mean yeah if you want to. And it'll be safer when were having an inercorse". Haida giggled, "alright, imma have to look into some appointments for that after your abortion is over". Inui yawned and hugged Haida, "I'm tired now, let's fall asleep. Haida nodded and kissed Inui on the lips, "okay, I love you so much Inui. "I love you too honey", said Inui. After that both Haida and Inui fell asleep together.
