I get to my room and shut my door. I slide down my door and put my hands on my head from what just happened. I sit there for a moment just to breathe.
I get up and go to my bathroom. I look in my mirror to see a scratch on my face. I sigh and put some water on it. I head to my bed just to make myself feel comfortable.
But the only thing I'm thinking about right now is taylor...
I KNOW it's the wrong thing to think about but why is he treating me like this?
I only started talking to him today? Was it love at first sight?
Cant be.
I grab my pillow and scream into it.

I take the pillow off my face and grab my phone.

" who is it" I yell.

Maddy walks into my room and sits on my bed.
She sits close to me and hugs me and whispers

If anything she's one. She's dating her bestfriends ex"
She pulls away from the hug.
We both look at each other for a second. But we end up laughing because it was to silent.
" what we're you doing up here" she asks me.
" oh I was texting taylor".
Maddy smiles.
" y/n I really like him for you even though it's only been a day. It feels like y'all are a newly married couple".
" Maddy chill we're just friends".
" Y/N PLS NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN IVE NEVER HERD YOU SAY THAT".
" but I just came up here to say vinnie is outside waiting for you".

Maddy grabs my hand.

I walk downstairs and vinnie is sitting on the couch alone. I'm guessing everyone left already. He looks up from his phone and we make contact. Just seeing his face gives me goosebumps. He gets up and walks over to me. He knows I'm mad at him. He knows I don't wanna talk to him. But it's the right thing to do.
